Mass Effect 3
Ultra-Limited Mass Effect M-77 Paladin Pistol Replica Goes on Sale

Here's something that'll get our resident Mass Effect mental case, Dan Webb hot under the collar. It's a full-scale replica of Mass Effect's M-77 Paladin pistol, which has gone on sale at The BioWare Store and is limited to just 200 pieces worldwide.

The replica has been "masterfully sculpted and painted by the artisans at TriForce", and has been hand-painted and hand-finished to a high standard, making it a rather desirable piece for Mass Effect fans. Being limited to 200 pieces however, means the replica comes with a hefty price tag.

It costs $400 to be exact, and demands a $200 deposit up front if you want to secure your M-77 Paladin pistol replica. Take a look at the images below for a closer look at the replica, and see if you think it's worth $400 of your hard-earned moolah. It's estimated to ship in Q3 2013.

Sure is snazzy looking. I wonder what it's made out of. I know you're paying the $400 because it's a limited piece, but I could probably never justify that if it's just a bunch of plastic.

Considering the poor quality of the painting on the two Normandy models, I'd not be touching this anyway, regardless of the price...

I got my lovely bayonetta scarborough fair replica pistol for about £20 and love it. But about £300 for this? The words taking the piss a little come to mind.

@3 They're made of polystone. This gun weighs 7 pounds and has working LEDs. Triforce makes good shit, regardless what people say. I missed out on the Avengers :( But I'm not missing the Geth Plasma Rifle.

@14 This is the 2nd run of Mass Effect guns from Triforce. Right now, they are taking pre-orders for the Geth Plasma Rifle, Carnifex, and the Paladin. Better go get your carnifex ;)

For those wondering. This isn't a Bioware Store product like the Normandy models someone was complaining about. They are just helping sell them. The Triforce website gives more information (and has a lower deposit) on the new gun line.

It's cool but not worth $400 to me.

It is was high quality metals and the like, even then I'd still be valuing it at a lot less.
