Take-Two's financial reports are in, and display fairly strong results for the fiscal year. Not only has BioShock Infinite managed to ship impressive numbers since its release on March 26th, but Max Payne 3 has also enjoyed some success during the year it's been on sale, helping Take-Two to reduce its losses.
"BioShock Infinite was the top-selling console title in March, enjoyed significantly higher first month sell-through than any other BioShock release, and has sold-in more than 3.7 million units to date," reads the report. Shipments of Max Payne 3 meanwhile, topped 4 million units, with 3 million of those achieved within the first week of the game's launch.
This has contributed to Take-Two's total net losses going from a staggering $107.7 million last year, to a relatively less terrible $31.2 million incurred in losses this year. Revenues for Q4 almost doubled from $148.1 million to $300 million too, and with anticipation for BioShock Infinite's three Season Pass add-ons and the looming September launch of Grand Theft Auto V, things look pretty good for Take-Two.
