Hot on the heels of our Remember Me live stream comes Capcom's Resident: Evil: Revelations, which is out in Europe today. On the fence as to whether to grab it or not? Well, if our review wasn't enough of an endorsement, then perhaps some gameplay will help.

Aboard the Queen Zenobia on the hunt for Chris, Jill Valentine and Parker Luciani find themselves drawn into an elaborate conspiracy and a nightmare involving shambling marine freaks known as the Ooze. The result of the T-Abyss virus, the Ooze just want a hug. And to suck your brains out at the first given opportunity.

See Capcom UK blasting some Ooze brains across the walls of the Zenobia, before some lucky audience members will be given copies of the game just for the hell of it. Resident Evil cosplay is optional, but anyone dressed up for the occasion stands a better chance of winning!

Resident Evil: Revelations is out now. You can read our verdict on the game right here.

  • While lacking survival horror.
  • Nice music.
  • @1 It's the closest thing RE has gotten to survival horror since CV. Its a step in the right direction.
  • I just watched some people line up for a Resident Evil cosplay group photo while some funky dude sporting a finely conditioned mohawk blocked the shot. Was this a trick?
  • @3 Ignore Ronnie. that guy shows up to knock on anything resident evil related. every chance he gets. it is the closest thing to survival horror and he still bitches.
  • @1 yeah i think wallace & gromit is as much survival horror as you would want mate.... OT: will deffo pick this up. :)
  • @1 I don't think it's a case of this not been survival horror, it's more a case of as you've got older you've become desensitized to it.
  • #1 Go buy game or rent game and you will see yourself that is true Survival Horror once again. :):):) I don't think you understand about Resident Evil: Revelations story based. Come on Revelations is true this time. I knew you so angry with Resident Evil 5 to 6 for being highest action and no horror elements so I understand this but Revelations is back from what Survival Horror Zero to 4. I knew Resident Evil 4 might be tiny bit less Survival Horror but still lots of horror in it anyway. Revelations is full Survival Horror. :):)
  • @5 dude your a troll........ I don't ever recall hating on Code Veronica/Outbreak 1/2 or Resident Evil 1/2/3 http://www.petitionbuzz.com/petitions/resi2remake 28,000 signatures want the old gameplay, I agree with them. It isn't my fault if a lot of people hate what Capcom is doing to the series. @7 I sort of agree but Resident Evil 2 did a better job like adding the smallest elements like the moaning in the background or the constant music or how the camera's were designed in a way to confuse people or just have windows where you would randomly get grabbed.
  • I love Resident Evil, but honestly, I'm already kinda over Revelations. I hope Capcom is working on a new RE right now. Whether it's RE7, or a reboot, I just want a new good RE game on next gen. A good, dark, scary RE, preferably with Leon as the main character. I know a lot of people want Jill or Claire, but I want Leon. Or Billy Coen, but mainly Leon, is the the man.
  • @10 No more Leon, God no more Leon! He's being over used. What we really need is Rebecca, no matter how much I would love a Barry game, he's gotta be, what.... 53 now? He was 38 in RE1. Rebecca could do with a return, I mean she'll be 33 now. See what she's learned in them years
  • #11 I can seen it but how about Chris? He been in many recent Resident Evil games and Resi Evil 1 and CV. So I felt Chris character is bit bored now as he got so many then Leon. I prefer Leon then Chris. Fact I loved Leon, Ada and Jill more then others. :)
  • I thought RE4 was a great game in the survival horror genre. Revelation is somewhat in the right direction since RE4...not since CV. Now where that HD port of RE remake?? Brought the gamecube back then just to play that game.
  • Odd to be showing it after release. I've had it for days and nearly finished the campaign - it's a great Resi and Raid mode's awesome!
  • @14 MCM is in London, the game only released in Europe today (ie the 24th)
  • I'm in England and got it Wednesday. Assumed it was a worldwide Tuesday release, but I guess I got an early copy. :-)
  • having a good time playing this, raid mode is addictive too
  • resident evil loves their doors. so many god damn doors.
  • lol #18 so true... and dead space 3 had about 500 elevators... so tired of riding those
  • £34.99 is to much for an HD port game. Ill wait to it around £20.00
  • @1 Wrong.
  • Geez, what a waste of time at the start of the video. It's also a really bad room to show a game, what with the echoes and all. I can hardly tell the texture of the audio of the game because of that room.
  • @1 GO TO HELL GUYS IGNORE THAT guy .
