That's a tad overpriced (by at least 1000 MSP) for games I can play for free on flash.

Capcom and Sega both are simply releasing old titles on the arcade, its all both company have done lately or the same game with " different " versions

This strikes me as easy or desperate money needed

Under $2 per game with achievements. Cheese and crackers some people are cheap. Pretty good deal.

The packs separately are $45 as opposed to this bundle for $25, so it's actually a really good deal. Granted, the game overall has low gamerscore and the price should have been half of this to begin with, but still.

pretty sure i had most of these from a capcom pack on my psp go and i only paid around £3 for that so £17 does seem a little bit overkill lol

I'd do 1200 points at the very most. Even that's pushing it considering there are cheaper legitimate alternatives.

Personally, now that I know I won't be able to get back my XBLA games on the next xbox one (and that I won't buy one becase of that), I don't think I'll buy anymore XBLA games... (not to see them dissapear in a few years when my 360 will be out of service and when the XBOX Live will be down which will prevent me to get my licences back, even if I back them up on a external hard drive).

#11 Wondering whether you'll be able to transfer your profile via USB. that would at least make things easier when Xbox Live inevitably shuts down so that you can still get Achievements offline. However, I find it unlikely that it will happen in just a few years given the vast amount of content that can be brought. If people can give Microsoft Money, then why would they take it down? Actually, I hope the service stays up so that people can ALWAYS access their "recent" downloads.

It's actually 2400msp,if you read the description you must purchase the arcade cabinet before you can play them which is 400msp.Its a bit steep if you tell me.

@11 : You can transfer games and profile through USB but if the 360 die, without the licences (and without XBOX Live), you can't unlock your XBLA Games anymore.

About achievements, that's not my main concern. I would have prefered to see XBLA backward compatible on XBOX One rather than my gamerscore (which I don't care that much, I completed some games because they were fun, not really for the score or I would have more than 100k as I have my 360 gamertag is 6 years old).

And of course, if I had 5 XBLA games, I wouldn't care, but I have more than a hundred of them.

Anyway, I already switched to the PC (my first game on it that I planned to get on 360 is "Resident Evil Revelations" and my next one will be "Remember Me") though I'll continue to play with my 360 to the games I already have (but not buying any new retail games)

I'll stick to MAME or the 2 of the past Capcom Classic Packs from last gen....which are far better both games and production imo.

#6 Its not $25, its $30...I learned this the hard way. I waited patiently for 3 months and bought the ALL-IN-ONE-PACK only to find out every game was still locked. I called Capcom and was told I needed to purchase the initial 400 MSP "Capcom Arcade Cabinet" which is actually the first 3 games. So the ALL-IN-ONE-PACK is not actually ALL, but 14/17.

Just for the 1940's games I'm tempted, as I love me them games, but like others have said, the price is a little too much, even though I may discover some hidden gems I may have missed out in my younger days of gaming.

I'll wait for a DotW, if it ever comes. :)

@27 : Because you are still believing all the bullshit Microsoft says?

They will definitively shut them down one day, like they did for the first XBOX (and it'll be the same for the PS3).

Once they won't be a lot of sells (and that most people will stop buying gold account for 360), they won't have any interest in keeping servers to store games that no one buy anymore, when they can recycle them for the XBOX One.

If you want, I'm writing down the url of this news and we can talk about it again in a few years.

@30: Why would MS lie at the reveal? They risk getting sued for false advertising. The original Xbox servers ran on a different architecture. The One runs on 360's, except they added a ton of capacity. They also stated that the gold subscription is exactly the same for 360/One - meaning all you do is port over your gamertag to the new console. The original Xbox you could use your existing subscription, but you had to setup a 360 account when you ported it over. Even then, you could use prepaid subscription cards that were formatted for original Xbox and redeem them on 360 - and the same applies for 360->One - so it's not possible to "stop buying gold account for 360" (because 360/One accounts are the same thing).

They never announced they would keep the 360 XBLA games online forever to let you download them in 10 years if you need them, but if you have an official link which state that, feel free to post it, I would be happy to read that (the transfer of the gamertag and the fact you keep the remaining months of your gold subscription is another thing). Same for the 360 games, if you believe the servers will be up forever, it's seems a bit too optimistic.

What would they lie? Because they want to sell their system? (and it seems to work, seeing the numbers of preorders).

It's the same as "You can turn off kinect but you can't unplug it" means "you have to trust us, when we say the camera is not active".

Anyway, anyone is free to believe what they want, that's not a problem for me, I already switched on PC for the new games (RE Revelations, Ride to Hell, Remember Me, etc...), as I don't want to give more money to Microsoft.
