Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Deus Ex: The Fall Teased by Eidos Montreal?
Written By
View author's profile

Following the registration of domains for 'Deus Ex: The Fall' a few months ago, Human Revolution developer Eidos Montreal has today decided to tweet a question to fans, teasing whatever the hell 'The Fall' might be.

"Are YOU ready for The Fall?" the tweet simply reads. Aaaaand that's about it. We know that Deus Ex: Human Defiance is the name of CBS's Deus Ex movie, so what is Deus Ex: The Fall?

Could it be a new Deus Ex game in development at Eidos Montreal? Could it be next-gen? Could it be heading for an E3 reveal next week? Could it be all of these things? Could it be none of these things? For now, we have no idea. With Thief already on Eidos Montreal's plate, a new Deus Ex could be something of a stretch. Or not. All will be revealed in time.

I hope it's a new game, and not some other medium. Just started another playthrough of Human Revolution, and I forgot how good that game was.

Whatever it is, given the timing of this tweet, it's almost guaranteed to be announced at E3 next week.

Remember Deus Ex invisible war and Thief : deadly shadows were also developed in parallel by ION storm back then but its just the release date had a gap of one year. So yeah Thief next gen and DX:the fall can also be developed in parallel.

But i wish they make a HD remake of two games before giving out a new game. A remake like HALO with complete graphics overhaul. that would be super awesome. I miss JC

Really enjoyed Deus Ex HR, despite a lot of negative press from loads of friends who said its wasn't all that good. Saying that, they had been fans of the previous installments, whereas HR was the first Deus Ex i had ever played. Would definitely play another in the series.

I cannot wait for new Deus Ex. Human Revolution is great game in 2011 and one of best games in 2011 and recent years.

I look forward preorder new Deus Ex if this is true for Deus Ex as well port version for Wii U for Human Revolution. Wii U will get upgraded graphics, extra contents, improves lighting effects, fixed bosses that problem in Xbox 360, PS3 and PC onto Wii U and many more.

I will play Wii U for Human Revolution again but with load of fixed, upgraded and extra contents. I had played Xbox 360 but I want to play Wii U cos game is one of my favourite games and I want to see what bosses fights with better and improves. Will be interest to beat boss better this time.

I will preorder new Deus Ex for Xbox One or PS4. Undecided yet but wait and see more reveal about this secret game from Eidos. :)

@17 you can throw it to me, if you're this stupid to write that comment you might just be dumb enough to give me all your money...fuck!

@16 stop, just stop with you recent posts about the Wii U. I don't care what system you play and neither does anyone else. This is an XBOX website. Nintendo is shit and dying, accept it...fuck!

#18 Well it is my opinions thing to say. Doesn't matter what you said. You not staff here are you? Everyone can have reasonable and opinion. No need to be troll or rude or stupid thing to say. There reason why I mention Wii U cos Human Revolution on it I will preorder as well next series of Deus Ex on Xbox One or PS4 either. I loved all consoles and enjoyed it. Xbox One moment disappointed me so far like Wii in 2006 anyway. This is just my opinion. :D

@18 That's a pretty stupidly close-minded assessment of Nintendo. Just sayin'. Plus, the Wii U version of DX:HR does have a lot of new things, graphically and gameplay wise. Plus, decently made bosses. So. Can't fault them there.

As for Nintendo 'dying', not in the slightest. Look at their lined up games between like now and Jan... along with general sales. They're not even close to being even remotely dead.

And hey, they're probably even getting a sales boost from people that might not spring for the Xbone.
