Can't wait for this. Love RPGs. :)Thursday, June 06, 2013 @ 04:34 AM
South park is silly and ridiculous (the show) yet still pretty funny. The game looks good and i hope it will deliver.Thursday, June 06, 2013 @ 04:35 AM
Yeah looking foward to this one! South park is the only comedy cartoon that never got stale in its lifetime, love it!Thursday, June 06, 2013 @ 04:36 AM
im intrigued as to how they will do the map exploration and how open it is and give you some sense of freedom rather just walking left to right constantly, still looking forward to it tho, god dam you delaysThursday, June 06, 2013 @ 04:41 AM
@1 ty! Saved me the trouble of looking it up myself. Really dont know why they dont just use youtube.Thursday, June 06, 2013 @ 04:46 AM
This looks awesome! It's just like a new movie =D haha Can't wait!Thursday, June 06, 2013 @ 05:02 AM
This is going to be Game of the Year 2013, and will be just that for the rest of eternity.Thursday, June 06, 2013 @ 05:08 AM
#9 Maybe but I think The Last of Us, GTA V, Bioshock Infinite, Watch Dogs and some others possible Game of the Year 2013. Lots of great releases this year so far between every consoles (Xbox 360, Wii U, PS3, PS4 and Xbox One), handhelds (3DS and PS Vita) and PC.Thursday, June 06, 2013 @ 05:11 AM
Isn't this more or less the same as the previous trailer?Thursday, June 06, 2013 @ 05:13 AM
@7 you're welcome, as is anyone else who prefers YouTube over whatever X360A/PS3T prefers. @11 as far as I am aware, yes it is. They could of included a release date or some actual gameplay footage.Thursday, June 06, 2013 @ 05:19 AM
@11 This is exactly the same Trailer as last years E3-Trailer, just with Ubisoft-Boxcovers instead of THQ ones...Thursday, June 06, 2013 @ 06:05 AM
@#1, 7 & 12 - We stopped using YouTube because they kept closing our account due to errors - we'd put up a video that we were allowed to and then they'd assume we stole it so closed us down, only to open it again. We had to move away from that for the good of the site. I don't get the hate for our video player... it's better quality videos for one, and two, you can support a site that I assume you use because you comment, you read our news, etc. Please, enlighten us...Thursday, June 06, 2013 @ 06:47 AM
this game looks amazing.. who cares what video player it is on lolThursday, June 06, 2013 @ 07:06 AM
@14 - Your video player doesn't work on my phone, that's the only reason I look out for YouTube linksThursday, June 06, 2013 @ 07:11 AM
@11 Almost, this has some new visuals, sounds and the updated boxart & LogoThursday, June 06, 2013 @ 07:12 AM
@#16 - What phone and operating system do you use?Thursday, June 06, 2013 @ 07:40 AM
People are constantly posting video links on the comments. Usually the same people too. If you want to view the video elsewhere then that is up to you, but don't be a dick and post the links up here. That's just rude as hell.Thursday, June 06, 2013 @ 07:52 AM
@#18- You vid works fine on iPhone. Also, tell Rich I sent a pm with release dates that include this one. It's August 27th. ;)Thursday, June 06, 2013 @ 07:57 AM
*your This why I stay in the forums. Edit button FTW!!!Thursday, June 06, 2013 @ 08:14 AM
@14 "it's better quality videos for one" I'm not being an ass but I disagree with this. If you watch the Lightning Returns video in fullscreen with HD enabled, then watch it on YouTube in HD, also fullscreen, then you can actually see a difference. I agree with the site support thing though. OT: this game looks excellent. South Park games have a history of being a bit hit and miss, but this one has the potential to be a great game. Need to see gameplay at E3!Thursday, June 06, 2013 @ 08:19 AM
I'm just amused by the fact that its a PS3 advert that currently plays before all your videos.Thursday, June 06, 2013 @ 09:21 AM
I want this to be amazing, but I have a feeling it's not going to be...Thursday, June 06, 2013 @ 09:27 AM
@18 - Samsung Omnia 7, running the 7.5 updateThursday, June 06, 2013 @ 09:29 AM
Holy hell was that Jesus with a M-16?This is gonna be a good game!Thursday, June 06, 2013 @ 09:51 AM
the last time i was so exited about an rpg was ... im not sure, i think it was skyrimThursday, June 06, 2013 @ 02:09 PM
Isn't that the old trailer? Just with Ubisoft logos?Thursday, June 06, 2013 @ 02:52 PM
@14 I'm going to assume the hate is because of some incompatibility issues, and the fact that to me it just seems slower to load. I can watch youtube videos just fine on my computer at work but almost anything else takes forever to load, if at all (again that last part is probably incompatibility issues from an old version of IE/FF)Thursday, June 06, 2013 @ 07:27 PM
Really looking forward to this game, it's a shame it's been delayed so much but hopefully that means the game will be better for it! Someone mentioned already how are they going to open it for map exploration and will it always be walking left to right etc. Im also interested to see how they worked that one out. Bring on release day!

Ubisoft has released the first trailer for South Park: Stick of Truth since it acquired the game in January this year.
Stick of Truth started life as a THQ game, before the collapse of the publisher and subsequent sale of its assets. Like a big old circling vulture Ubisoft swooped, and here we are.
Developed by Obsidian Entertainment, the chaps and chapesses behind Fallout: New Vegas, South Park: Stick of Truth got Editor Dan’s own “Stick of Truth” incredibly stiff when he saw it at E3 2012. Read his preview here.
South Park: Stick of Truth is out later this year.
