A new developer diary for Team Ninja and Comcept's Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z has emerged, in which former Capcom man and Megaman maestro Keiji Inafune discusses the game with Team Ninja's Yosuke Hayashi.

We've got the long version of the first part in the 'Outbreak' trailer series, as well as the latest second part, bot of which can be viewed below. Each vid offers a wealth of information on Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z and what it's all about.

Check out both parts below. Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z has yet to be given a release date, but it's got blood, ninjas and robots in it, which is good enough for us.

Is this going to be an arcade game or retail?

Heheh... I liked it when Inafune had Hayashi about vetting the 'hot female character'.

Seemed like that was what Hayashi was most concerned with!

Hopefully it doesn't stray too far from the rest of the series although it looks like it will:( it looked a bit too much like Batman AA combat to me (I like Batman, but want a Ninja Gaiden to be Ninja Gaiden) I'll give it a go anyways:)

Add the watermark that overlaps subtitles to the list of reasons everyone hates this video player. Also happened in the 'Top 20 games we've got a hard-on for this year' video.

I dont care what happened with this studio, they need to get the people back together that made NG2 and go from there. NG3 was a disaster so why should we expect this to be anything but the same, including a cash cow?

@6+7 NG2 is the best in the series.
@8 Razor's Edge was a slight improvement on vanilla NG3. It still sucks, just not as bad.

It looks terrible,Why call it Ninja Gaiden anyway? can't they make it to a whole new game and stop ruining original Ninja gaiden.

I'm confused as to why they create sequels for a completely different target market than the ones that purchased and enjoyed the series before. I wonder if Dark Souls II will end up like Lost Planet 3/Ninja Gaiden 3.
