Ok, bear with me here. First we had Far Cry on the PC. Then, that was remade (albeit stripped down) as Far Cry Instincts on the Xbox, which spawned a sequel, Far Cry Evolution, also on the Xbox. This generation, we saw those two games remade together in HD in the form of Far Cry Instincts: Predator way back in 2006. Still with me so far? Well, today Ubisoft has announced (outside of E3) that they will be bringing a graphically updated, non-stripified version of the original Far Cry PC version to the Xbox Live Arcade. So after we saw it originally on the Xbox 360, two ports removed from the superior PC version, we'll now be getting the actual original, but an even better version of said original. Got it? Far Cry Classic will be available this summer for 560 Microsoft Points.
There was a terrible Uwe Boll movie in there somewhere as well, but we've tried to forget that.
