The Bureau: XCOM Declassified Gameplay Trailer Calls the Shots

2K has released a new trailer for The Bureau: XCOM Declassified today, showcasing a portion of gameplay from 2K Marin's long-gestating XCOM project, which started life as a first-person shooter before being transformed into a tactical third-person shooter.

Taking XCOM's strategical core, The Bureau utilises a 'Battle Focus' interface that enables you to issue orders on the battlefield using a radial menu. You can move your XCOM agents into cover, order them to shoot Sectoids, deploy turrets, levitate turrets to fire over cover and more.

Preserving XCOM's tactical gameplay, The Bureau: XCOM Declassified looks very interesting indeed. Check out the new 'Call the Shots' trailer below for almost four minutes of gameplay. Watch the skies for The Bureau: XCOM Declassified on August 20th in North America and August 23rd in Europe. You can read our preview here.

looks great to me the horror look of the first draft was cool but I wasn't going to buy, this may be more shooter/strategy but I love the looks of it so far.

As an X-com fan from the Amiga days I am starting to like the look of this, but in this video the main guy never shoots? or did I miss something.

They need to work on enemies walking down stairs, but apart from that it has potential.

@7 I believe they were just showcasing the control you have over teammates.
