This was the best E3 in many many years. Cannot wait for my Xbox One and I'm super happy Microsoft have sorted out most of the problems us the consumers have shown. Next gen is exactly what the games industry has needed, too many sequels and unoriginal games in recent years. New gen = new IPs.

@2 You crazy man, I feel like I'm being cooked in this heat!

@3 Lol, I just went out for a two hour bike ride around a flat area with no shade to protect me from the sun. Threw up like, five times. I was an idiot. Only brought two bottles of water. I'm practically 1/3 dead.

I feel like this was a great E3 because of the consoles, but Sony or Microsoft didn't really impress me as compared to EA or Ubisoft. I think they have a better grasp of what the Xbox One and PS4 are capable of, and I was pleasantly surprised with games like The Division, showing off how a friend away from the living room can still interact with your game through a tablet. Really excited for the next generation, but the Xbox 360 and the PS3 still have a good four or five years, I bet.

Not completely sure about the WiiU, though....

@3 you should know that the next gen will also have its share of sequels and unoriginal games.

a lot of these games look great with destiny obviously being compared to borderlands. titanfall not so much with the brink style story but gameplay seems good.

@7 And why would you think developers like EA and Ubisoft have a better idea of what the Xbox One is capable of over the people who make the actual console)?

This E3 got me all sorts of excited for the next gen. Bring on Titanfall!!!!

@12

I agree, but just so you understand the plans were never for a an always online console, you just had to 'check in' once every 24 hours, which sounds annoying as hell, but not always online, I'm leaning more towards to PS4 ATM no movement technology been thrown at me, and I prefer Sony exclusives to M$ exclusives, my favorite game this gen was Gears of War, but Judgement was awful and killed the whole franchise for me, all that said though things can still change.

Probably because they showed the best games for the console....you answered this yourself with 'Bring on Titanfall' which is an EA title. Microsoft haven't really shown any innovation in their first party titles for the Xbox One yet. I'm certain they will, but Ubi and EA seem to have a grasp on it *right now*. Microsoft didn't really show that. Neither did Sony for that matter - the most interesting stuff on both platforms is coming from 3rd parties at this point.
