Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Garrison Reset Patch Now Live

Finished with Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon? Cleared out all of the garrisons, killed off the story and bagged all of the achievements? Wish you could go back and kill some more Omega Force cyborg goons? Consider your wish fulfilled, as today the Garrison Reset Patch has gone live for FC3: Blood Dragon.

"ATTENTION! The Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon Garrison Reset patch is live! Get back in the game and kick some Omega Force ass! That's an order" reads a tweet from the official Far Cry Twitter account. That means like Far Cry 3's Outpost Reset Patch, you can now return and take back all of the garrisons all over again in Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.

As reasons to return to the neon-soaked, 80s action of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon go, this is a pretty good one. The Blood Dragon Garrison Reset Patch is live now, so you can go take the fight to those Omega Force assholes as Rex 'Power' Colt all over again.

Wow this patch only just came out? Crazy.

Anyway, it's awesome that they did this. I can't wait for the next Far Cry title.

Cool. Good to see they're listening and Ubisoft will no to include this idea in future games. I liked the Garrisons in BD as much as the Outposts in FC3, more verticality and indoors sections too as well as the generators you can blow up to allow the blood dragons themself to come storming in without having to stealth in over to the deactivation switch.

Time for some more superfly death-from-aboves I think.

I guess I'll be the one to ask a stupid question. After patching this feature into the original Far Cry 3, why wasn't this included in Blood Dragon day one?

Funny thing is I just beat this game an hour ago. This will help so that I don't have to go around killing soldiers and animals to buy the rest of the attachments.

@5 Don't forget the "gaming" aspect of games, achievements aren't everything. This is why I don't care about completion percentage, i'd rather play the game, enjoy it, and get cheevos after if I still want to continue playing. Blood Dragon is awesomeness at it's finest, i'll likely play through it a 2nd time regardless if I have 400 out of it or not.

Gonna have me some fun!
You can always just start a new save on a different difficulty, but you don't have your attachments or upgrades. This way you can keep all your gear and take the garrisons back.

Too bad they won't let you start the story all over with your upgrades or at least view the cut scenes in their 8-bit glory.

i'm with #5, i enjoyed the game but there's no replay value in it for me. Most of the game was doing the same activities over and over killing the same enemies. When I got to the credits with all unlockables and achievements there was never a reason to play the game again

This patch actually went live on June 20. Don't know why they're just now getting around to announcing it.

The game was awesome but it's no game of the year candidate. It's not worthy of a mention next to titles like Bioshock Infinite, The Last of Us and without a doubt, Grand Theft Auto V just to name a few.

@21 wtf are you talking about I had 10x more laughs in this than bioshock infinite. And at least the ending to this made me laugh rather than pissing me off.

Good they finally did this. Although if you knew what you were doing the achievements were pretty easy to get.

So happy about this, though there are still enemies about, (moreso than in FC3) resetting these is so awesome, the satisfaction of clearing these is the main part of the game.

Everyone needs to own Blood Dragon.

I got all the achievements within the first week of its release. Would like to see a new list of achievements though. Or maybe a free DLC with a new story (maybe one telling the story of his cyborg partner)
