New Stormrise Trailer

SEGA have just released a brand new trailer for their RTS title Stormrise which is currently being developed by The Creative Assembly, who have a pretty good record in the RTS genre.

The Total War series creators are attempting to revolutionise the RTS genre on consoles by making the controls more accessible and easier than ever. Rather than doing just that, they also hope to add an aspect of verticality to the title allowing the units to go underground and across rooftops when necessary.

So if it sounds like your title, check out the new trailer below. If it doesn't, check it out anyway because there are some pretty badass creatures throughout.

  • o, and gotta LOOOVE the 50 cal.
  • looks pretty sweet, i'll definitely be getting this...
  • The graphics look a little iffy but the gameplay looks promising. Most of the RTS games on 360 have been pretty bad *cough* Supreme Commander *cough* but I'm hopin that this game (and Halo Wars) are gonna change that.
  • the graphics look crappy, but it isn't the final cut so i can't judge them yet.
  • it's hard to fault a game that looks this good, considering there will easily be hundreds and hundreds of units like this on screen at once, not counting the environment.. this is pretty good detail, considering.. could probably be a little better though, and it's not like you're going to be fighting battles zoomed in on guys' faces anyway
  • Just might not be gay
  • Oh, and just curious, but what is Metal Gear Rex doing in this game?
  • looks pretty interesting. While watching I was thinking...man...if they made a FPS about this then that game could probably be a good contender with Gears/Halo.
  • Yo, can we say M-Rating? Sega seems to be trying to re-invent different genres lately. I guess everybody's finally jumping of the Sonic and Phantasy Star Universe and VF bandwagons. But, don't those giants look eerily similar to the Brumak in Gears of War? What about the story though. Hopefully there'll be a good demo coming out soon.
