We already sort of know this, but it's worth mentioning again anyway, as official confirmation and all that. Microsoft has officially nailed down the recommended retail prices for first-party releases on Xbox One games for UK retail, and they're in line with the RRP for current games for Xbox 360.
Microsoft's online store has Dead Rising 3, Ryse: Son of Rome, Forza Motorsport 5 and Kinect Sports Rivals available at £49.99 a pop, which means that in time retailers will in all likelihood apply the same reduced £39.99 price for games that we've all grown accustomed to over the years. However, with this being the advent of a new console generation, you can expect that £49.99 RRP price tag to stick around for a while to begin with.
In North America, first-party Xbox One titles are carrying a price point of $59.99, which is also in line with the current pricing on Xbox 360 games in the region.
