Glad Bioshock is still selling well. It would be game of the year if GTA V wasn't out this year.Monday, August 05, 2013 @ 04:14 AM
@2 Excuse me? Bioshock has a huge chance of beating GTA. You havent even played the game so don't make assumptions.Monday, August 05, 2013 @ 04:17 AM
Not including Minecraft again...Monday, August 05, 2013 @ 04:22 AM

Where's Minecraft gone? It was top on the chart you posted last week wasn't it?Monday, August 05, 2013 @ 05:13 AM
@6 Lee's been doing the chart for the last 3 week and said that they would be using the Top 20 retail games regardless of price chart instead of this one. Apprently he forgot to tell Rich :pMonday, August 05, 2013 @ 05:24 AM

#1 Also, you obviously haven't played The Last of Us. Better game than Bioshock InfiniteMonday, August 05, 2013 @ 06:55 AM
@11 Thats your opinion and i couldn't disagree more with it, The Last of Us is not even close to the brilliance of bioshock..Monday, August 05, 2013 @ 07:05 AM
@12 Why don't you go marry bio-shock if you love it so muchMonday, August 05, 2013 @ 07:20 AM
Original insult #12, however, BioShock is the only game series that I've actually enjoyed going through and finding all the collectables, unlike Intel in every COD game or the various other treasure hunting items you find in games. The Last of Us looks amazing and I am aiming to play that as well, don't believe it will surpass BioShock though.Monday, August 05, 2013 @ 08:48 AM
I'd say so far The Last Of Us has the makings to be game of the year, but we still have plenty of games coming out in the next few months for that to change. Smurfs 2 lolMonday, August 05, 2013 @ 08:53 AM
The Last of Us is a great game, there's no denying that, but I highly doubt it will top BioShock for GOTY. And yes, I've played both.Monday, August 05, 2013 @ 08:54 AM
@13 Is it legal to marry a game? Just curious..Monday, August 05, 2013 @ 11:00 AM
Please tell me The Smurfs 2 is you trolling, pleaseMonday, August 05, 2013 @ 02:38 PM
Why does everyone like Bioshock Infinite SO much? I'm serious I would love to know why every one raves over it. I've played from beginning to end on hard I've seen the ending while I will agree it's different than the walk into the sun set cliche ending, Its not that original certainly not amazing enough to justify the glory its getting. When it came down to gameplay it was boring & repetitive no memorable moments stand out most environments felt like a copy paste shoot 5 guys go here shoot 6 more & on top of it all it was WAY TOO EASY I found no challenge. I know I'm coming off as a enraged prick like every other person on the internet but I honestly would like some people to explain to me what made this game pop so much for them.Monday, August 05, 2013 @ 03:48 PM
@19, you're in the minority it seems.Monday, August 05, 2013 @ 05:46 PM
Im glad to see Defiance is still holding in the charts. Despite the flak its getting from most people over the repetitive gameplay, I enjoy it & can soak hours up in game. I honestly never was big with MMOs, but for a "first" console release, I enjoy it alongside hundreds of other players still running around ingame. HA, smurfs.....Monday, August 05, 2013 @ 05:49 PM
@20 Yes it seems that way, but when I played Infinite I felt that the first was still leagues better.Monday, August 05, 2013 @ 11:46 PM
Played Bioshock Infinite and Last of us each twice over and honestly I'm giving the nod to Bioshock in the GOTY department. That game

Right. Hands up. Who in the hell has been buying The Smurfs 2 this week? Apparently there's been enough people grabbing it from the shelves to boost its position by twelve places in the top 20 charts, with a 115% boost in sales.
Also enjoying a boost is Call of Duty: Black Ops II, that while holding fast in second place, has enjoyed a 48% rise in sales, compared to FIFA 13's 33% rise in sales this week, keeping it firmly in the number one spot yet again.
Elsewhere in the top 20 charts however, there's very little going on other than Bioshock Infinite climbing a few places, alongside Dead Island: Riptide and Crysis 3, probably thanks to sale discounts in stores. Have a look:
