Rock Band creator Harmonix's latest endeavour, Fantasia: Music Evolved, has received a new trailer charting rhe evolution of the classic Mickey Mouse musical opus, from the origins of Mickey in 1928's Steamboat Willie, to the release of Fantasia in 1940 to the sequel, Fantasia 2000.

Then there's Harmonix's upcoming Fantasia game, which promises "a mixture of motion, music and animation", featuring a mix of classical tracks and contemporary artists, all set within a musical world for you to explore. It's a new way to interact with the music, says Harmonix.

Check out the trailer for a quick overview of Disney's Fantasia and Fantasia: Music Evolved, slated for release in 2014 for Kinect on Xbox One and Xbox 360.

I wanna beat up the nerd that invented Kinect. Star Wars is literally the only single Kinect game ever I had some kind of interest in and it was reviewed so poorly I didn't even bother attempting to play it before I traded my Kinect in. GO AWAY KINECT.

Did everyone forget that this is Harmonix? The miracle workers that can make every game interesting? I still play Rock Band 3 to date and I enjoyed Dance Central, not really into Dancing games as well :P

I fully support them, as usual, so bring it on!

Harmonix are the only guys to make a decent Kinect game so far, maybe they can do it again.

I'm excited for this game. I can't really say that about every Kinect game, but I am for this. Believe it or not, there are some fans who do enjoy the Kinect, like me. I have a family and my kids love Dance Central and the Nickelodeon Dance party game. Harmonix really do create great games. I'm definitely counting on this to be as great as Rock Band and Dance Central.

...So what you're telling the world is you've never played a single Kinect game, yet have such a terrible opinion of it? Without ever playing a game, you've already decided there aren't any worth playing? I sincerely hope you don't vote the same way you play videogames. Fuckin' sheep.

I also think this might actually turn out good. This is type of game Kinect was designed for, not trying to make some games with action and cohesive plot. Music, fitness games are the only way to go with Kinect, so hopefully this will be one of few games Kinect owners could enjoy.

@9 Read the post thoroughly, "Before I traded my Kinect in". Yes I owned one and played a lot of the awful games before I decided it was junk and it didn't interest me in the slightest. It wouldn't make a ton of sense for me to buy a Kinect, never attempt to use it, and trade it back in would it? I owned one for a few months in anticipation of the Star Wars release, but considering it flopped I decided it was not a game I was going to invest my money into just to be disappointed like the rest of the Kinect games I played.
