Borderlands 2's Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack Two Raises Level Cap Beyond 72

Stuck at Borderlands 2’s current level cap? Good news. The upcoming Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack Two: Digistruct Peak Challenge will allow you to rise to level 72... and beyond.

Contained within the pack is the eponymous Digistruct Peak, where you’ll be tasked with blasting a series of increasingly powerful enemies. However, once you reach the pack’s new level cap of 72 you can move into “Overpower”.

If you complete the Digistruck Peak arena while at level 72, you’ll unlock Overpower level 1 and then from there you can rise to Overpower level 8, effectively raising the cap to 80.

You can find out more about all this over at Digital Trends. Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack Two: Digistruct Peak Challenge is out on September 3rd, for $5. Meanwhile, TK Baha's Bloody Harvest and a free update are also incoming. Get all the info on that here.

I bought the game and the season pass, finished the campaign (was awesome) but haven't even started all the DLC yet. Need to crack on!

"...where you’ll be tasked with blasting a series of increasingly powerful enemies."

Yeah, but will numbers still pop out of their heads? That's the important bit.

Wow, I find it hard enough to level up now and I am at lvl 56 or so LOL, can't really getting much higher than this. I play TVHM only so that's probably why, but that is challenge enough for me. New story DLC on the other, yes please=D

@6 Shut up. Borderlands is good. No one is forcing you to play or read these new feeds for the game.

They really should just announce a second season pass and boost it to 2000G.

You just can't knock the amount of support this game has had... Still feels as good playing it now as it did a year ago.

@10 I'm with you on that one or at least give us DLC on the moon base (dragons keep ending pretty much hinted at it)

I suggest you guys read the hyperlinked article to Digital Trends. It mentions how these next fews DLC's aren't even that large. So we may not even see achievements.

@7: So we're only allowed to comment in a positive way about something we've read on the home page, this is what you're saying? Well, many of us read all these articles regardless of our having liked the game[s] or not, so your argument isn't very well thought out. Almost as if you were in an emotional state of butthurtery because someone else challenged your superior grasp of open forum etiquette. Lol, that's the modus operandi of a 12 year old little girl, are you a 12 year old little girl?

I happen to agree with #6; enough is enough, already. I loved this game, still do, but not enough to sink another [x] hrs into it. I understand others will have no problem doing this because they're still in love with this game, but you won't hear me bash or even fault them because of it.

I love the DLC in the Borderlands franchise (excluding Moxxi's Underdome), but I wish the raised level caps came with the DLC packs or a free title update instead of being an extra purchase. I'm really picking up a pay-to-win vibe that seems like its exploiting its fan base rather than supporting it.

@14 WTF!? Why would you even read an article about a game you didnt like in the first place? I dont comment on articles on games I dont give a shit about because I dont even click on the article to begin with. This isnt an open forum its the comment section of an article about a specific topic. Im so fucking tired of the people on this site. I dont even know why I bother...

@14 I wasn't trying to start a argument. No, everyone is entitled to an opinion of something. But if you dislike the game, why bother commenting? Hm? It doesn't matter if someone reads the title and brief description of the article. If they didn't care, they won't comment. Just as @16 flechetteXXX stated.
