You will be quite pleased. Final Fantasy games have always been an adventure into realms only the imagination can create.

Especially the older titles. Those are still the best ever to play.

I ordered the 2 previous games on PS3, but did not even have time to open them yet thanks to Blacklist. I figured might as well get into it before they move FF to next gen and I will be way behind. Time is a luxury though I heard these games could clock in at 40HRS each. I might not be able to finish them before third one comes out with all the shit I got going on=/

@4 rushing through maybe around 40 hours..

I'm at 31 hours replaying FFXIII and I'm about 60% through the game at the moment.. And up to this point I've probably spent atotal of around 4-6 hours messing around and farming nice. I'll probably hit 100+ since I'm getting all 1000GS this time as well

@6: ...What? VI? Where'd you get that from? Lightning Returns, Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD and Final Fantasy XV are in production at the moment. Nothing to do with VI.

the final fantasy X and X-2 Hd remakes were supposed to be released on september 10th which is also the same day as the kingdom Hearts remake. Unfortunatly they are going to both be Ps3 Exclusives But one can wish right?

@9: They push the reset button with each new numbered title.
@10: No announced release date, but apparently this year. PS3-exclusive, but it's X HD, Eternal Calm and X-2+Last Mission HD. Worth the wait!

@11 FFX|X2 HD hasn't had a release date announced, Amazon still has it listed as Dec 31st. Kingdom Hearts is Sept 10th tho. Have my limited edition paid off :) Can't wait.

@1 You're impressed and only jumping into the franchise now? That's impressive because in a lot of ways they've gone downhill after 9. So anything pre-FFX is the best in my opinion. You'll get endless hours of replay value from them no doubt.
