X360A Review: Lost Planet 3

To date, the Lost Planet series has been pretty divisive. Some people love the first game and its challenging trek through the extreme icy conditions of EDN III, while others hated the game's sluggish, charisma-free protagonist and annoying boss battles. The same went for Lost Planet 2, which went big on monster killing and light on the snowy survival stuff.
And so with that in mind, Capcom and Lost Planet virgins Spark Unlimited are going back to the series' roots. All the way back, with a story set prior to the events of the first game. But is it the same old divisive game that you'll have a love/hate relationship with, or would you rather just slam it into the fridge and forget about it forever? Is Lost Planet lost, or found?
