Never played Grid before. Is it worth picking up?

months too late, people i know have had the game and now traded it in, the demolition derby mode along with the le mans races should never have been removed in the first place, you don't take out 2 of the best features of a game only to then put 1 of them back in later because you realise the mistake you have made, gears judgement did this with execution and then brought it back as 'free' DLC, ridiculous decisions some people in the games industry make at times.

GRID 2 ended up a standard racer but the fun you had in the first GRID game was gone thanks to losing 2 of the best features of the game.

I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH #3. The demo derby and the 24hr Le Mans race were the some of the best parts of Grid1 that made it special. I would also add that removing the docks/shipping yard course where you could drift all over the place and not worry about a damn timer in MP was mistake. I would spend hours on that track in the mp everyday. Guess you could say I prefer Grid1 over Grid2.

Too late. GRID 1 was perfect. I've given up with this game.

Good thing I bought this on PC, so I can never trade it in, and come back to it at my leisure to smash up some luxury sedans.

I can't believe they used the exact same tracks. It really can't be that difficult to change them up a little bit...
