Are you - like me - a rubbish Battlefield pilot? Do you jump into a helicopter and spiral it into the ground, pissing off the rest of your team for wasting a perfectly good aerial vehicle? While this is undoubtedly hilarious, Battlefield 4 will include a vehicle test range that will enable you to hone your piloting skills.
"If you want to learn to fly a helicopter you can get in there and you can find the settings that work best for you. And then start doing some stunt flights just to feel safe before you go out and get the responsibility of a bunch of other people sitting in your helicopter, so I truly hope that this will help people feel more safe about trying out the whole battlefield," DICE's Creative Director Lars Gustavsson told IGN.
Getting to grips with the controls of Battlefield 4's planes and choppers ahead of taking to the skies in a live multiplayer match is a great idea, and one that I'll certainly be taking advantage of when the game launches on October 29th in North America and November 1st in Europe for Xbox 360 and at launch for Xbox One.
