Microsoft Stores will allow customers to trade in Xbox 360 games, upgrading to the Xbox One version for a cost of $10.
The promotion, which is similar to GAME’s next-gen trade-In deal in the UK, is intended to help make the transition to next-gen a little easier and cheaper.
The upgrade deal doesn’t apply to all games, however. Titles currently listed in the promotion include; Battlefield 4, Madden NFL 25, Need for Speed Rivals, Call of Duty: Ghosts, NBA 2K14, FIFA 14 and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
Buy any of those games on Xbox 360 from a Microsoft Store, either online or at retail, and you’ll be able to trade them in at a Microsoft Store for $10 in order to receive the Xbox One version.
Yesterday the Xbox One launch date was announced. It'll be hitting Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, UK, and the USA on November 22nd, 2013. It will launch in other global markets in 2014.
