In FIFA 14, the expanded Career Mode will enable you to do a bunch of new stuff while playing as a manager, as demonstrated in this new video explaining the ins and outs of the Global Transfer Network.

You'll manage a team of scouts, who'll search for talent around the world based on the criteria you've set for them, taking into consideration the needs of your team. You can then peruse the shortlist, and further scout players you're interested in.

You'll then be given more detailed information on the player you want to recruit, before having to enter negotiations to add him to your squad. If you've got £85.3 million, you could buy Gareth Bale. FIFA 14 is out on September 24th in North America and September 27th in Europe for Xbox 360. It'll be available for Xbox One on launch day.
