Thats going to be a farce and a big joke. But I'm optimistic that some day it will be here.....some day....Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 11:49 AM
I have waited for so long for tis game as long as it's not a disappointment it will be worth the wait. It had a release date of February then March then April then I heard August and now it's September haha.Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 11:49 AM
GFD: God Fucking DammitThursday, September 05, 2013 @ 11:50 AM
Will this game ever get released by the time it does I will be to old to love south parkThursday, September 05, 2013 @ 11:50 AM
So I guess we're not getting any new South Park episodes until the game is released then?.. They delayed the season because of the game, and now the game is being delayed even more.Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 11:51 AM
Just another reason why I dislike Ubisoft.Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 11:54 AM
Oh my god, ubisoft killed South Park......... U bastardsThursday, September 05, 2013 @ 11:56 AM
@5 They delayed the season because they were in London with Book of Mormon.Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 12:02 PM
It's always a good sign when a game gets pushed back and the release date changes. Wait...that doesn't sound right.Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 12:05 PM
"They took our jerbs!" - unemployed THQ developersThursday, September 05, 2013 @ 12:06 PM
And then I have this sick sense of de ja vu - and the words Duke Nukem Forever spring to mind... oh dear god please say it aint so...Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 12:08 PM
It would only be Ubisoft that does this. Next thing you know it will be on Xbox One and not 360.Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 12:12 PM
@12 then all these delays might just be worth it, but it just seems like ubisoft have had less progress with South Park than THQ did while going through financial troublesThursday, September 05, 2013 @ 12:18 PM
Oh, mother lovin', dammit, Barbara Streisand!Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 12:19 PM
They need to have a Xbox One version too at this point.Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 12:27 PM
I give up with this shit.Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 12:27 PM
Thats fine by me, if they need time to work on it thats great. It will probably be for both consoles next year. Hey it could be worse like Aliens: Colonial Marines that was garbage (I bought it) Still liked it but fucken worse game I ever played! This doenst mean that the game will be like aliens, look at all the time they put into stick of truth! Besides this will clear a way for me to keep myself busy for BF4 Destiny for xbox 1 until south park release date! :D And deff. buy it day one!Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 12:32 PM
all i know is that when i game keeps getting pushed back that is highly anticipated. it usually spells doom for the game. Remember Too HumanThursday, September 05, 2013 @ 12:32 PM
It would be nice if they delayed it to just put it on Xbox One instead, or too, both would be good. On the plus side, this gives me more time to preorder it as I keep forgetting lol.Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 12:36 PM
The game was basically done when it was with THQ. Why now is it still delayed? Maybe because they don't want it releasing around their other titles. AC4, Watchdogs, and others. Either way this is BS!!!!!!!!!!Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 12:38 PM
Ubisoft already has a lot of decent games coming out this christmas, it makes no sense to push this out with 2 AAA titles also on the market at the time. It wouldn't sell.Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 12:48 PM
Between this, Doom 4 and Prey 2, I'm getting really sick of the "It'll be done when it's done" crap. I understand you guys want to make your product as go as it possible can be, put I also would like to actaully have the thing before I'm elligable for Social Security.Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 12:58 PM
I would die for a 'South Park' video game , but can anyone give a link to a in-game/gameplay trailer for the game , please ?Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 01:00 PM
Damn it! The only good news is I get to keep my money, since this was a pre-order to me. January 2014 would be ok, my finance will be better by then.Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 01:04 PM
With Sega, Square Enix, and Bethesda all rushing Obsidian to make games, and still coming out with what they did, I'll give Obsidian the benefit of the doubt and say this can only be a good thing for the game.Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 01:18 PM
I can't be the only one who has gone from must buy to kinda skeptical. A:CM and DN:F come to mind when I think of troubled development.Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 01:33 PM
Screw you guy's im going home!Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 01:44 PM
Oh, hamburgers!Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 02:32 PM
No Ubisoft THAT'S A BAD UBISOFT!Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 02:38 PM
It's easy. It's in a terrible slot whereits going to get Alan Waked by a slew of console launches. They had to move it, probably to FebruaryThursday, September 05, 2013 @ 02:56 PM
been pretty hyped on this game for a while now looks pretty promising, hope it doesnt get canceled or delayed too much.Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 02:58 PM
I hope it is moved to Feb. Oct. and Nov. are gonna kill my wallet as isThursday, September 05, 2013 @ 03:09 PM
Fuck fuckity fuck, fuck, fuck.Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 03:11 PM
Welcome to the everyyear occurance. Will no doubt release in March now, publishers are too scared to launch with COD as competition and this year with PS4/XONE launching, even more reason to delay. Will probably end up a Next Gen title nowThursday, September 05, 2013 @ 03:26 PM
This blows, I was looking forward to playing it this holiday. Now we might have to wait till early next year. Maybe they want to increase revenue by not releasing it during that busy holiday period, especially with new consoles in the outing soon. Would make sense, IMO...Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 03:27 PM
Is this game the next Duke Nukem Forever.Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 03:44 PM
This probably should be taken with a grain of salt, but, GameStop has it listed to release the same day as Watch Dogs. Grain of Salt. Could be true, or not.Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 05:49 PM
God I hope this game is at least decent...Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 06:09 PM
I'd like to think it has more to do with Matt and Trey being perfectionists than Ubisoft's fault...Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 09:13 PM
I have a feeling this will be scrapped like Star Wars Battlefront 3 was. At this point if it ever gets released, it will be on last-gen consoles, so maybe it will be deeply discounted at launch?Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 09:15 PM
@42 It has nothing to do with that. The biggest flaw was it was being developed by THQ, who since went bankrupt and all projects were halted until other company's bought a the rights to the games.Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 10:18 PM
@4 i don't think their is such a thing as getting too old for South Park.Thursday, September 05, 2013 @ 10:32 PM
@4 You will never be to old to love South Park,..Friday, September 06, 2013 @ 01:47 AM
JESUS....JESUS CHRIST.Tuesday, September 10, 2013 @ 02:25 PM

According to a Ubisoft release schedule issued to the press, Obsidian's South Park: The Stick of Truth might no longer make its projected 'holiday 2013' launch window. Said schedule now lists the game's launch date as simply 'TBC'.
That's an acronym for 'To Be Confirmed', as we're sure you're well aware. Ubisoft had dated the RPG for 'holiday 2013' in its E3 2013 trailer, but now has no date scheduled for the RPG. The game had originally been slated for March 2013 by THQ before the publisher went belly up.
We contacted Ubisoft for comment, and they echoed this, stating that "South Park: The Stick of Truth doesn't have a release date yet." When will the game be releasing then? Your guess is as good as ours for now, but we'll be sure to keep you updated if we hear anything else from Ubisoft.
South Park: The Stick of Truth is seemingly delayed then, for reasons unknown. Let's hope it's nothing too super serial. Look out for our South Park: The Stick of Truth preview from Gamescom later this evening.
