I can just imagine the midnight launch for this. It would be like a kindergarten enrollment seminar.

So does the 360 version remain playable when I digitally upgrade. If I can basically pay $70 to have both versions playable interchangeably, with my season pass available on both, this might be a very sweet deal indeed. Anyone know the answer to that?

Don't know how to edit post. To anyone wondering, upon looking at the source article, you are, in fact, buying and keeping both copies for $70. Basically $120 gets you all DLC and the game itself, digitally, to have on both the 360 and the X1. Hell of a deal if I do say so myself.

A lot better than Gamestop's trade the 360 version in and for $10 get the X1 version. And all the more reason so go digital.

@5 How is it better? It's the exact same deal. Trade in 360 copy, get Xbox One copy for $10.

Still prefer physical all the way.

I wander if this means.

If you buy digital. If you have it on 360 and one.

@8 i think what he's saying is that you retain the digital 360 copy, thus having 2 digital copies (one for each system)... But yeah, I still prefer retail as well.

If the digital price is reasonable, then it's worth it.

I don't see why anyone would want to do that other than achievement whoring... I mean it's not really that much longer of a wait if you want to play in on next gen... Me personally will be sticking with current gen for a while and am looking forward to Ghosts on 360=)

@12 if I want to have a laugh,
I can always go to the marketplace and look
at Black Ops 1 still being €69.-
So I don't think Ghosts will have a reasonable price :)

Double achievements or not it will still be the same yearly recycled cod crap. Modern warefare 3 was my last cod ever. Ms pushing digital again but what can you do with you're download when u finish the game?! Nothing! At least a disk you have some which you can keep or trade in. Will be overpriced on download anyway

Are you guys who are stating that the digital download will be overpriced even reading the source article ffs? It's going to coat $70. You will own both 360 and X1 copies. You can bounce back and forth between both versions freely, your stats carry back and forth with you, and your season pass applies to both. It is a fantastic offer for both achievement hunters and anyone who has some friends that will be upgrading to X1 and some that won't, as you can play with both back and forth. It is considerably better than other upgrade offers because you get to KEEP your 360 version instead of giving it up. How does this not make sense to you people?

uhhh no same price if not cheaper & as far as trading in that's only if activision/IW decide not to opt out of the used game market which sony and Microsoft have given all publishers and developers the option to opt out of incase you didn't know so good luck ^_^
