Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Vids Play Out During Sunshine and Rain

A couple of new Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain vids have snuck out of TGS 2013, showing a load of new gameplay footage Kojima’s latest.

Taken from demos given during the show, there’s one vid from the PS4 version and one running on Xbox One. But don’t get hung up on that, just enjoy the gameplay, of which there’s about 40 minutes worth.

The bottom vid shows Snake carrying out a mission during the day too, which provides us with a much better look at the game than the rainy, nighttime footage found elsewhere. Give it a look.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is due out for both current and next-gen systems.

This will have to be PS game for me. It's one of those series I grew to love on PS and just like I couldnt imagine playing Halo or GoW on PS I could not play either this or FF on Xbox.... Looking good!

Not to spark a debate or console war, but if the PS4 and Vita remote play functionality work out the way it's been advertised then I have to buy this game for the PS4. I love Metal Gear games and I own them all, but the ability to play such an amazing game on the go when I can't be at home is too good to pass up on.

In fact this might be the first time I buy my multiplat games on the Sony console just for that feature alone. Even with the loss of Hayter I still can't pass on playing Metal Gear Solid V.

I have both systems pre ordered, I think they both have their pros and cons, but I still can't wait for next gen!

I wonder how the new Kinect and Smartglass will work in MGSV, Kojima expressed interest in implementing such features.

@3- Even though that does sound cool, it is still a matter of questioning if Sony will still be sticking with remote play by the time this game comes out. Yeah I know they said that all games will support that feature, but I remember them saying that remote play would be available for PS3 games on Vita eventually and as of right now, only two games support it (God of Origins and Ico/Shadow of Colossus). It will probably end up just being first party games and maybe a few third supporting it.
