PES 2014 Experiencing Technical Issues Thanks to Multiplayer Patch

PES 2014 requires a day one update to be able to access multiplayer, but it's this very patch that's causing technical problems for some users who want to play the game's online modes.
The day one patch is mandatory, but players are reporting that not only does the update take a prolonged period to download, but it's also suffering from problems where the installation of the patch itself is not working as it should. Thus, multiplayer in PES 2014 is still inaccessible.
PES Community Manager Adam Bhatti suggests using a community 'fix' that involves using your computer to download a third-party solution to a USB stick. You can get full details on the workaround at PESFan.com. In the meantime, Konami is working on resolving the issue.
