Rockstar has today released the soundtrack, original music and score for Grand Theft Auto V as one massive three album compilation on iTunes, available separately for £7.99/$9.99 apiece, or £17.99/$24.99 for the full compilation.

The soundtrack compilation includes pretty much every piece of music in the game, from the radio stations' original tunes, and a few choice cuts from the rest of the offerings you can tune in to as you're riding around Los Santos and Blaine County.

You can get the full details and track lists for each of the three albums below, then as a little bonus, there's an epic 5-star police chase for you to watch, showing that all you need is a couple of dozen sticky bombs, a fast car, bulletproof tyres and Franklin's driving skill for high-velocity lawbreaking fun.

Volume 1: Original Music
The first volume of this compilation is a collection of brand new music from a wide array of artists including Wavves, Twin Shadow and Tyler, The Creator - along with The Chain Gang of 1974's "Sleepwalking", which was featured in the game's Official Trailer.

Volume 2: The Score
GTAV is the first entry in the series to feature a dynamic original score composed and engineered to be completely responsive to the player’s actions within both missions and open world gameplay. The score was composed in a one-time collaboration between a team of legendary producers and composers including vanguard German electronic band Tangerine Dream, Woody Jackson (Red Dead Redemption, L.A. Noire) and renowned hip-hop producers The Alchemist and Oh No. For The Music of Grand Theft Auto V: Volume 2, the stems of the game’s interactive score are layered, mixed and arranged into an album of songs by acclaimed producer and DJ, DJ Shadow.

Volume 3: The Soundtrack
The collection of music in GTAV is the biggest and most ambitious in the history of the series. Volume 3 features select songs from across the game's unique in-game radio stations. Snippets from all 17 in-game radio stations are also now available for your listening pleasure on the Music page on the GTAV official site. Featuring tracks by Bootsy Collins, Flying Lotus, Bob Seger, Jai Paul, Toro y Moi, Waylon Jennings and more.

I'll pass. I already have my radio volume on zero because I just don't like the stations.

It still blows my mine that Tangerine Dream worked on this soundtrack. Probably the most original score in a video game since Mass Effect started.

I agree with 1, the selection of music for this game was bad. There are 2 songs that I enjoy. So I just muted the music as well.

I can't stand silence so I tend to just leave the radio on whatever it is when I get in.
I think the songs used in the trailers are probably the only two I actually try to find.

I completely agree one or two songs are alright mostly trash I just always switch to the talk stations. I appreciate they cant cater to every taste but c'mon no metal at all and the "rock" station features Elton effin John ffs. In personal opinion it's the worst music selection of any gta I can remember. But that really is my only big criticism of an otherwise superb game

I agree, I've been disapointed in the music. The Rock station doesn't cut it as it should, nor does the Electro station. It also feels like about half the stations are the same, all playing some variant of (dare I put it this way) black music. Meh. I don't go as far as to mute it, but it would be nice if they had a feature where you could add your own music to be played in between the amusing news stories and adverts.

Radio stations play trash for the most part anyway, so I would say they did a pretty good job.

All I have to say is I hope there is DLC like GTA4 has and I hope they add songs to the radio stations again. This soundtrack is really really really weak in the rock department and there is no metal whatsoever. Not everyone like hiphop/R&B R*

Yeah the songs really suck on this game. I just listen to my Ipod when playing. At least in Saints Row you could pick the good songs and put them on a tape. SR3 had some amazing songs. The best was the ATHF theme.

This soundtrack is worse than the Forza Horizon soundtrack. They didn't even try.

Personally I love the rock station, loads of cheesy power ballads that make me want to break out my air guitar.

@1 you can turn the radio volume down? How? I'd love to do the same, but can only see the option to turn down music volume, which turns down ALL music, both radio and the in-game music.

I also think that there is very few good songs on here. Also surprised there is no option to make our own mix tape out of songs available. I loved that in Saints Row 3 and was very disappointment with lack of this option.

I have had a few brilliant moments like when I stole a semi just as CW McCall's Convoy came on, or any time I'm running from a 3* chase in an Infernus listening to Kenny Loggins/Yacht Rock. Only could've been better if they added Danger Zone.

There are only a few songs I like so I usually turn the radio off as well. I can't seem to find the album on iTunes. I searched GTA V and all it brought up were apps for iPhone and iPad.

@22, because I was doing the stunt jumps, so I would turn the music off, save my game, try the jump, die, reload, and the music would magically be on again. It did this over and over and the jumps were already irritating enough.

I enjoy a lot of the music in this game, what I don't understand is why anyone would pay $25 for 1/3 of the soundtrack. Screw that noise.

Great game!

No Radio GaGa? I feel cheated!
In all honesty, that and I think 2 other songs from the Rock Station I listen to.
Would be nice to add a few more songs in as DLC

I feel that there is a lot of electronic/ hip hop music in there. Don't think Flying Lotus needs its own radio station either. Needs another rock radio station, a hard rock station mixed with metal would be great. The LSRR station, while good, is pretty tame.

this game has police chases like no other :) simple to escape for petty crimes, impossible to escape for major crimes :D adrenaline filled, explosive and tense chases every time with worthy opponents, providing you know what your doing.
Love a good cop chase in your own super upgraded car, with the other 2 protagonists in there with you :D good times !

Ah man. The Alchemist and Oh No are both great producers so I might wanna find out what parts of the score they were behind.
Also enjoyed the songs A$AP Rocky, Gangrene, 100s, Future, Flying Lotus made for the game.
The punks station was great too. I don't know why everyone is complaining about the station so much. If you're not aware, FlyLo FM is run by Flying Lotus who produces a good amount of the great bumper music heard on Adult Swim. His music is great.

Saints Row 4 has dubstep, Riff Raff, and Diplo. That's disgusting. Just the thought makes me wanna puke.

People are complaining about how bad the music is... I don't think this game was made for people to sit and listen to the music. It's meant for background noise.
