They need to come back soon. Maybe with an amazing next gen Bad Company sequel in 2014. DroolThursday, October 03, 2013 @ 05:44 AM
BC2 was the last BF game I enjoyed.Thursday, October 03, 2013 @ 05:49 AM
Good to know. One of the better games was Bad Company.Thursday, October 03, 2013 @ 05:59 AM
YAY THIS GAME SERIES IS AMAZING!Thursday, October 03, 2013 @ 06:07 AM
Next year is mirrors edge + bf4 dlc, next is possibly battlefront, then i reckon a year or 2 after that releases we might see bc3. seems a long wait, but there's plenty to play before then, and a lot of hours lost to bf4 and battlefront multiplayerThursday, October 03, 2013 @ 06:26 AM
Its an instant sell & well loved so why not put it into production straight away! The cash cow is waiting. I know i will buy it day one.Thursday, October 03, 2013 @ 06:32 AM
Ah... Bad Company, now this is a multiplayer that I absolutely loved! And loved the campaign as well, though loved the first games campaign more. I can't wait for a sequel so long as it keeps the Bad Company charm, there gold in them there hills! Make it happen!Thursday, October 03, 2013 @ 06:34 AM
Great news!!! Bad Company series wau better then BF 3!!!Thursday, October 03, 2013 @ 07:26 AM
Well that's ok. I liked the BFBC story's but the multiplayer was where it was at. BF3 was awful compared for BFBC2 and I was worried about grabbing BF4...however, after playing a few matches in the open beta I must say I am very excited for the changes they've made. It plays a lot smoother than BF3 does and this isn't even a finished product, with poping textures etc.Thursday, October 03, 2013 @ 07:39 AM
Hopefully they don't do what Call of Duty did and make multiple games which pretty much are the same thing, but just with a different name.. I loved both Battlefield 1 and 2, but I'm just worried they might try to milk the name cause they know people will buy it if it says Battlefield anywhere on the box. But if that is not their intentions, hopefully they take their time on making it, so it can truly be a master piece.Thursday, October 03, 2013 @ 08:00 AM
@1 Love BF3, but BC2 was so much better.Thursday, October 03, 2013 @ 08:15 AM
We kinda already knew this, but I'll keep my hopes up that it won't take too long :) BF4 will be good for now.Thursday, October 03, 2013 @ 08:41 AM
MP was solid in both BC games, but story was way better and funnier in first one IMO. Hopefully they can go back to the roots of what made it funny while introducing new stuff along the way=) Looking forward to it whenever it happens!Thursday, October 03, 2013 @ 08:57 AM
@1 I thought BC2's campaign was A LOT better than BC1's :SThursday, October 03, 2013 @ 10:07 AM
What is the core difference between BC series and regular Battlefield, just the characters in SP?Thursday, October 03, 2013 @ 10:38 AM
I just hope they dont become like the CoD series and release a Battlefield one year and a Bad company the nextThursday, October 03, 2013 @ 12:40 PM
Bad Company 2is my favorite battlefield by far, im happy to hear that it's not forgotten.Thursday, October 03, 2013 @ 12:47 PM
Loved the story in Bad company 1. Funny stuff and different. Loved the rainbow sprinkles and bad world videos. Google them, good times. Bad company 2 multiplayer was the best but the single player story was too serious compared to one. We have enough serious shooter games.Thursday, October 03, 2013 @ 05:26 PM
Man both BC games were amazing. BC2 still has some of the best multiplayer ive ever played. I hope it comes back soonThursday, October 03, 2013 @ 05:46 PM
Nothing beats Bad Company 2Thursday, October 03, 2013 @ 05:51 PM
There are still ok numbers on BC2 depending what time you come on. For me it's one of the best fps multi-player games on the 360. Everyone dust off your copies of BC2 and lets have some good games on there! :-DThursday, October 03, 2013 @ 06:37 PM
Bad Company 2 was my favorite FPS & one of my favorite games period. and I'm not a heavy follower of the FPS genre, but that was just a great game, great DLC, lots of fun.Thursday, October 03, 2013 @ 08:25 PM
Battlefield Bad Company: Vietnam just a thought....Thursday, October 03, 2013 @ 10:40 PM
Bad Company 2 was my favorite online multiplayer by far!Friday, October 04, 2013 @ 12:14 AM

The Battlefield: Bad Company series will return, DICE Creative Director Lars Gustavsson has said, but it won’t be for a while.
Speaking at a recent Battlefield 4 event, Gustavsson said that for him Bad Company represented creative freedom, but with all the projects currently in development at DICE, it’ll be some time before he can return to it.
"My feeling is that I would love to do it,” he said. “For me, when we started the company with 1942, it was really a work of passion. And then we worked our way through the era of different wars, and I loved them all, like my little babies. When it came to Bad Company, it was creative freedom; don't take yourself too seriously.
"So I love it. I want to see it again. Whether it can happen [right] now with the newly announced Mirrors Edge 2 and Star Wars: Battlefront... but we'll see."
"Trust me, the Bad Company [team] isn't forgotten, they are just on a very long vacation," he continued. "So they are out there, they're coming back."
Gustavsson’s words are consistent with the message EA and DICE has been peddling for a while now. Last we heard, Bad Company 3 wasn’t in active development, but there also isn’t a “lack of love for BC inside of DICE.”
Gustavsson’s assertion that “they’re coming back”, however, is the first real indication that, one day, we’ll get to re-join Bad Company’s ragtag squad of troublemakers and misfits.
