Warner Bros. Montreal is investigating reports of corrupt save files in Batman: Arkham Origins.
Since the game released last week, numerous users across forums (including ours) and social media have complained that their game saves have been corrupted, leading to hours of progress being lost.
It’s not the first time such issues have affected an Arkham title. Similar complaints were made about the previous games in the franchise, Arkham Asylum and Arkham City.
“We are currently reviewing and validating issues that have been reported to us,” Warner Bros. told X360A. “Updates will be deployed once we have fixes available.”
How long we’ll have to wait before the fix is released remains to be seen. So in the meantime, some users are reporting that the problem can be avoided by playing offline, though that is yet to be confirmed.
