Sadly most season passes are for online and usually for games where SP is the main focus, Ryse is one of those. I will be getting it after launch but the online doesnt interest me

Kind of a shame to have this so early on. Would be nice to enjoy the launch games for what they are for a while, without new content being thrown at us straight away. Although, if the game is great, then I'll be clamouring for it :P.

Never anything wrong with extra content. I just hope I enjoy the game enough to want the season pass.

Looks like they are putting a lot of faith in MP. Maybe it's not as bad as it looked so far after all, otherwise I doubt they will get profit they are expecting out of it....

I agree with #6 "SEASON PASSES ARE CRAP!!!"'s change of heart makes it the second publisher to publicly distance itself from online passes. Electronic Arts first popularized them, and in May it was also the first to publicly announce their removal. Ubisoft & EA are never doing them again!

It's all about making more money out of a title.
The company that has shown this year it's (((ONLY))) concern is money?

Correct my if I'm wrong but using 'Microsoft Math' does the fact its $20 mean that it converts to £20?

@11 Glad I'm not alone, BiggD! I was stunned at how it looked during the E3 demo, and as soon as the gameplay started - what really mattered - I was disappointed.

Am definitely interested in the MP for the game (like the gladatorial arena aspect where you're actions influence the crowd) but since there is no SP content here I will probably wait and see how I really feel about the MP.

@1: It's the first in a new series and it's not out yet, but it's focus is definitely on SP? I'll take your word for it internet stranger.

is that all you can say because every time they talk about a season pass you say they are crap come up with something original it really depends on the game because sometimes they are worth it

Hey please, you must know Season Passes is good because save your money and get one of 4 DLCs free and discounts for %. Come on some of you complaints because Season Passes. It is good way for part of DLCs for money.

Game publishers and developers will continue with Season Passes for longer time. I sometime spent Season Passes for some games when I like to. Not always because I can afford DLCs, downloadable games and other things for download without Season Passes.

I really hope Ryse: Son of Rome turn out being good. I can see this game getting treatment for MP DLCs. Microsoft is one of some publishers who need bucks all times so this why want to put MP DLCs and not give Single-player DLCs. Disappointed with Microsoft. They should give contents for part of Season Passes for single-player in this game too. Fair boat because out there many players love single-player so Microsoft should put some single-player and multiplayer share in Season Passes.

So all the Ms blurb about achievements bein added whenever is not gona happen. Cod ghosts battlefield ryse and dead rising 3 all got season passes. £40-£50 a game and they expect another £20 straight on release day?! No chance all developers are sooo bloody greedy. Whatever happened to puttin out the best product possible rather then planning expensive add ons? Console gamin will be dead by the next gen if they cant sell me the full game day 1, bet most of this has just been cut from the game already.

I can't say this interests me. I'm picking up Ryse for the single player, the MP hasn't pulled me in with what I've seen so far.

There would have to be a pretty good customization system, and leveling system to stem my interest towards it.

That is very disappointing. Who wants more multiplayer content in a game that is 95% singleplayer?
I'm definitely going to try out the multiplayer, but I'm not expecting anything good to be honest.

@21 regardless if dlc any company can add avhievements inbetween these dlcs they can easily add say beat the campaign for a second time or abything like that.judt cause they announce season passes dont expect the adding achievements randomly to stop

@24 are you really that naive that they will put extra achievies on that are not paid for dlc?! No dev in today economic climate are going to be stupid enough to do that because they want all you're money.

If any body got hyped for crisis 3 then they should be wiser than to waste their time buying this game or its season pass, all Crytek games severely fail to live up to their expectations
