I'd like DiRT 4. seems like forever since we're had a dirt game.Monday, November 04, 2013 @ 07:48 AM
I think now that Ken Block is working with NFS DiRT can return to its roots and make something that WRC fails to do every year.Monday, November 04, 2013 @ 07:52 AM
To be honest, I don't care unless they're putting in cockpit view. That is the sole reason I still have never bought Grid 2. Unless it's an arcade racer, but coming from Codemasters, I doubt it.Monday, November 04, 2013 @ 07:52 AM
It wouldn't be F1 2014, that was announced a few weeks ago.Monday, November 04, 2013 @ 07:58 AM
Can we have a new TOCA Touring Cars or Race Driver please Codemasters?Monday, November 04, 2013 @ 08:13 AM

One sentence review of Grid 2: Biggest disappointment of the 360 era. Did I get in?Monday, November 04, 2013 @ 09:13 AM
A good racing game for a change would be nice, so many different motorsports out there something like a touring car game would be good.Monday, November 04, 2013 @ 09:30 AM
Hopefully a new IP. Way too many sequels planned for the next gen. New Gen should = New IP's.Monday, November 04, 2013 @ 09:32 AM
After the latest let downs in Grid2 & F1 2013 I hope they get back on track with something decent!!Monday, November 04, 2013 @ 09:47 AM
If it is a new Dirt lets hope they get rid of gymkhana crap & they go back to the original Dirt with different disciplines.Monday, November 04, 2013 @ 10:12 AM
I can do a one word review of Grid 2 "sucked". Hopefully it is a new TOCA race driver game, those where awesome. Still have my original XBOX hooked up just for those games.Monday, November 04, 2013 @ 10:51 AM
Reboot the TOCA Race Car Driver series. Damn, that game was so much fun. It was the poor man's Forza, with a ton of different types of cars and racing styles.Monday, November 04, 2013 @ 11:16 AM
I hope its Micro Machines. Been too long since we had that and an Xbox version would be nice.Monday, November 04, 2013 @ 11:34 AM
@5 & @18 Agreed, there's a big variety in the TOCA package still, from BTCC to Formula Ford with Clios, Porsche & Ginettas too. Also plenty of scope for reusing the circuits with all the other races that go on there when it's not a BTCC weekend.Monday, November 04, 2013 @ 11:51 AM
Fuck racing games, why did they bin LMA Manager???Monday, November 04, 2013 @ 12:23 PM
does it have to be a sentence, I can't think of more than 2 words for it, and one of those is purely to emphasise the other I preordered it on PC hoping that it would work with my wheel, and it doesn't, then trying it with a pad, it's more twitchy than someone with a very bad crack habit...add to that the lack of cars without drift setups [I played 3 or 4 events, and every car available was drift only, so, no fucking grip..... I was annoyed with codies for destroying the rallying games with the dirt franchise gymkhana is not rally, and has no place in any game aside from as a party mode for clowns, and all the other crap features it had....I want a return to the old school colin mcrea rally style games, back when they were like rally, and were worth playingMonday, November 04, 2013 @ 12:42 PM
i hope its a new dirt. i mean a true dirt game, not this stupid trick version. "dirt showdown" was awful. a decent dirt game would be great. k thanksMonday, November 04, 2013 @ 03:20 PM
@8 & 20, you both beat me to it. Definitely need some more Micro Machines in my life!Monday, November 04, 2013 @ 04:10 PM
DiRT 4 as I guess or maybe a big new IP racing game. I don't think Grid 2 because it is already this year but if Grid is back again then Grid is became one of games to get yearly releases like Super Mario, Halo, CoD, Assassin's Creed, Ratchet & Clank, F1, Forza, FIFA, Madden, WWE, Skylanders and load more alway yearly releases. So if Grid back next year again then welcome to join of yearly game releases business. I understood Codemasters desperate need money like they release yearly F1 series. We shall have wait and see. I just hoping it is DiRT 4 or new IP racing game. :)Monday, November 04, 2013 @ 06:01 PM
Would kill for toca 4.Monday, November 04, 2013 @ 06:48 PM
codies could make an all in one game where you can choose which path you start on (rally driver/BTCC or DTM/F1 driver) and at the end of each season you can choose to switch to 1 of the others or stay in your current motorsport but im just hopeful no company would be that generous to roll 3 big games into just 1 huge one

In a blog post looking for test drivers to head over to Codemasters' main racing studio in Southam, UK, the developer is promising "super-exclusive, super-secret early game access" to its latest racing game. "We’re looking for really core racing fans initially, and we know there’s plenty of you out there," reads the post.
A yet to be announced racing title, the smart money is on the game being DiRT 4, as GRID 2 means that particular franchise has had its turn, and the F1 franchise is developed at Codemasters Birmingham studio each year. It's DiRT 4, isn't it? It seems obvious.
Also required for the application to test drive the game, is "your one sentence review of GRID 2", which could suggest a new GRID title in the works. However, we're going to say that DiRT 4 is the more likely proposition. If you fancy giving Codies' next racing game a whirl, you can apply here. It's probably DiRT 4.
