I've been asking them on twitter, but they're not answering. I want to know if our Extinction ranks carry over too! I'm almost second prestige on Extinction!Tuesday, November 19, 2013 @ 07:46 AM
Why is the season pass different for 360 to One? Is it only one way? The arrow points both ways for PS3/PS4, but only one way for 360/One.Tuesday, November 19, 2013 @ 07:48 AM
Yeah it's an 'upgrade' for Xbox users but it's shared for PlayStationTuesday, November 19, 2013 @ 07:48 AM
What has bothered me is that the prestige edition hasn't come out for the uk on Xbox one but has in the states, that's a good way to lose fans activision.Tuesday, November 19, 2013 @ 07:49 AM
It's strange but on the official site it says 'take your online profile and your achievements with you'. Does this mean it will unlock them again as they are separate?Tuesday, November 19, 2013 @ 07:49 AM
@3 what does that mean tho? Once you upgrade you can't use it on 360?Tuesday, November 19, 2013 @ 07:56 AM
It is as clear as it is with BF4 (Its just not clear) can you go back & forth, or can you just go Forth & thats it? I wish someone would just answer the question! I guess we will find out on the 22nd but you think someone would inform you!Tuesday, November 19, 2013 @ 08:33 AM
Looks like Xbox gets dlc first but the short end of the stick on this one.Tuesday, November 19, 2013 @ 08:47 AM
@6 it looks that way, yesTuesday, November 19, 2013 @ 08:49 AM
@6 http://tinyurl.com/lornlhv That's a link to CoD's community site with an FAQ of the whole process. Unfortunately it mentions the upgrade and that you can still play both versions of the game, but doesn't mention if you can still use the season pass on 360 after you have upgraded to XOne.Tuesday, November 19, 2013 @ 08:53 AM
@10 - Same question. Even though you can swap the SP over to the XB1 version, can you still transfer/use it on a 360 version of the game? If you look at the graphics, the arrows on the 360 > XB1 only face right (>>). Whereas on the PS3 > PS4 they go both ways (>). Kind of makes me think it's transferable between the Sony consoles but not the Microsoft ones.Tuesday, November 19, 2013 @ 09:12 AM
@11 The FAQ says both game licences will be retained but doesn't mention anything about transferring back and forth between 360 and XB1. I'll have a look online now and see if I can find anything.Tuesday, November 19, 2013 @ 09:20 AM
@6 http://oneofswords.com/2013/10/last-minute-cod-ghosts-faq/ "your Xbox 360 progress can carry over to your Xbox One (and back, if you plan to play on both)" "If I get a Season Pass for DLC on my current-gen system, will it work on next-gen? Yes, as long as those systems are in the same console family (Xbox 360 & Xbox One; PS3 & PS4). This was confirmed back at the MP reveal. What’s more, if you have the game on both systems, you can use the Season Pass on both — but you have to establish your Season Pass on your current-gen console for you to be able to take it forward to the next-gen console."Tuesday, November 19, 2013 @ 09:33 AM
This is why i decided to get bf4, ghosts and black flag on ps3. They all include a redeemable code for the next gen versions for 9.99. I would rather spend 70 bucks and get both versions (ps4 digital copy) than trade in my physical 360 copy to upgrade to xbone. I just don't understand why microsoft is being so greedy. It's going to hurt them in the long run... Live sub more expensive than sony's, console more expensive than sony's. So if you own both consoles you can clearly see who's screwing you over...Tuesday, November 19, 2013 @ 09:52 AM
* Available in Xbox One Launch Territories Does that mean that countries like Sweden that got delayed with the xbox one launch wont be able to upgrade?Tuesday, November 19, 2013 @ 11:34 AM
@14 go away.Tuesday, November 19, 2013 @ 11:39 AM
@4. There is an Xbox One version of the Prestige Edition. It's just sold out and not available anymore.Tuesday, November 19, 2013 @ 11:57 AM
#16 no i won't go away... I will continue to express my freedom of speech through a site that is open to everyone's own opinion. I own both platforms, there for i have the right to comment on both platform's features. Hold copy of COD up to mirror, realize you wasted $60 on a horrible game, think about wasting 10 more dollars the same shit, try not to cry, cry alot!Tuesday, November 19, 2013 @ 01:24 PM
@20 i'm not sure who it is you are referring to but i will say that in my case i do agree.. Cod is the same crap every year but i buy it because i enjoy playing online and zombies or extinction with friends so yeah i'd spend 10 more dollars for the same shitty game on another console because i have ps3 friends and ps4 friends and i would do it for the 360 too. Cool for you bro.. You don't buy cod. I'm sorry you can't accept that other people enjoy cod on multiple consoles. Happy gaming :)Tuesday, November 19, 2013 @ 01:51 PM
@21 no you shut upTuesday, November 19, 2013 @ 01:52 PM

I got both versions for 60 quid at grainger which i thought was a good deal as not all my friends are getting the one. Can have the best of both worlds and switch back and forth depending on whos online.

Activision has released a handy infographic for the UK, showing exactly how to upgrade your current-gen copy of Call of Duty: Ghosts to the silkier next-gen version for a penny shy of a tenner.
When trading up from Xbox 360 to Xbox One, you simply have to "upgrade your digital Xbox 360 copy online to Xbox One via Xbox Live." If you have a physical copy, you'll presumably have to go through GAME or another retailer's own current to next-gen trade-in programmes.
Your player profile carries over from the Xbox 360 version to Xbox One too, and if you've bought a Season Pass that'll also come over to the Xbox One version. You need only fork out £9.99 to carry on playing Call of Duty: Ghosts for next-gen.
