Ubisoft has confirmed that the Blackbeard's Wrath multiplayer DLC for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag will be available to download from tomorrow, offering three new characters to play with, as well as a selection of new achievements to earn.

Get details on the three new multiplayer characters right here.

  • Blackbeard - wielding a sword and a short temper is not to be trifled with. His reputation as a feared pirate is justly received and his preferred kill moves include using his tremendous strength to throw his targets off balance and then quickly finishing them with one clean strike.
  • The Orchid - a Templar-friendly deadly assassin grew up in China, serving as a military advisor in the Quing dynasty where she honed her murderous skills. She executes opponents swiftly and gracefully with her katana, an extension of her mind and body.
  • The Jaguar - Cuali, an Aztec warrior from Mexico, took to the sea to fight against the Spanish conquest of Central America. A fighter, he survived the destruction of his community and joined forces with a growing contingency of native Templars who sought renewed peace and order. Driven by a mystical force, The Jaguar fights like his namesake, striking swiftly and quietly with his preferred weapon, a discreet axe.

Blackbeard's Wrath will be available to download for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag on Tuesday, December 10th (tomorrow) as part of the Season Pass or separately for an as yet undisclosed price.

What's with Ubisoft and thinking they need to continue pumping out MP DLC? We get it, your game has MP and has continued to decline in both quality and entertainment value as a result. Go ruin another franchise already.

Not tried one bit of multiplayer yet, but I got the season pass for the story DLC so I suppose I'm stuck with these. Even though I can't find a match most times I try...

I hope the katana part in the Orchid's description is a typo because katanas are Japanese not Chinese but probably not, so much for historically accurate =_=

Got to do this on the 360 & the X1!

Hopefully we can do the MP achievements in a private game.

@2: What issues? I had a 0 glitch/bug run on my 360 save, am 50% into the One version and the only hiccup were the pre order dlc codes.
ACIV is extremely well polished, as opposed to AC3.

@15 the real black beard use to actually do that (put lite cannon fuse in his hat) to enhance the fear into people when he attacked them.

Uhhhhh can anyone tell me why this DLC is not showing up in the game menu even though I have the season pass? This is frustrating......
