DiRT 4 will apparently be returning to the series' Colin McRae roots by delivering more of a focus on traditional point-to-point rally races, if a response to fans on Twitter regarding the latest game in Codemasters' racing franchise is to be believed.
DiRT's Chief Game Designer Paul Coleman assured fans that the next game will be more like the old Colin McRae Rally titles, with longer point-to-point rallies. "Yes it can and it will," Coleman responded on Twitter when asked whether DiRT 4 could be a return to point-to-point rallying.
Coleman also confirmed that Logitech steering wheel peripherals will likely be supported, while rumours persist that DiRT 4 will be launching for both last-gen and next-gen consoles. Codemasters has yet to make any official announcements regarding DiRT 4, but we'll keep our eyes peeled for something more concrete.
