Latest Call of Duty: Ghosts Onslaught Vid Focuses on Alien Face Shooting

As well as boasting four multiplayer maps, including that one with Michael Myers from Halloween running about doing his stabby killing thing, Call of Duty: Ghosts' Onslaught DLC will also have a new Extinction episode called Nightfall. It's the focus for this latest trailer.

In the vid, you'll see the new Alaskan research lab setting, which bears a passing resemblance to the frosty facility in John Carpenter's seminal horror masterpiece The Thing. In Nightfall, you'll be fighting more toothsome aliens, as a result of captured samples returning to life. Stupid humans.

Give the new video a quick watch below, then look out the upcoming Onslaught DLC for Call of Duty: Ghosts on January 28th. It's the first of four expansions for the game, available as part of the Season Pass, and includes the Fog, Bayview, Containment and Ignition MP maps, as well as a new Extinction episode and AR Sniper rifle.

I actually quite enjoyed extinction. It was similar to zombies in a way and yet totally different. I can already see ppl getting DLC for that mode alone like it has been with zombies. And here I am still waiting on DLC for BO2 to go on sale, because there is no way I am spending $50 on season pass. Ever.

More game developers should advertise their games like this. It's just one of the many reasons that make COD such a success and one of the best gaming franchises ever. These games should be valued higher than just $60 with all the development time that is put into them.

Trailer makes it look like a totally different game and not call of duty. Consider me impressed

really wish i could buy an extinction pass so i got extinction maps without having to buy multiplayer ones

@2 err the development time after the game is released isn't included in the $60 price it's included in the $50 dlc cost more if you don't buy season pass so all in all your looking at $110 - $125 for the game

I can't wait to play extinction! it's been a huge success in my opinion. I am not very fond of what call of duty has turned into, but this fresh new gametype has been awesome.

Thanks. This wouldn't be possible without the nurses, they are quite shocked though. Does anyone actually like that flavour? I thought they were all nylon these days.

I wish for some old maps(free of course) be added. Why not bring some old map like Vacant, Crash etc. Call it "Thanks for Buying our over priced dlc pack"

Do we still keep our "Extinction ranks?" Because I won't have the pleasure of going to level 30 all over again.
