Warner Bros. Montreal has revealed that it has no plans to fix Batman: Arkham Origins’ continuing problems, instead focusing on the delivery of downloadable content.
"The team is currently working hard on the upcoming story DLC and there currently are no plans for releasing another patch to address the issues that have been reported on the forums," says a post by community manager “Mercury.”
Players have been experiencing problems with Arkham Origins since release, some of which still remain.
"If we do move forward with creating a new patch,” added Mercury, “it will try to address the progression blocking bugs for players, not the minor glitches that do not prevent one from continuing to play. The issues that are not progression blockers will unfortunately no longer be addressed.”
The reaction to the news within Arkham's community has been angry, with some members calling for a boycott of the game's upcoming downloadable content. Due for release this year, the story-based add-on is believed to feature Mr. Freeze.
