Microsoft's Xbox Entertainment Studios is working on a TV series that's centered upon the life of rapper Nas. Called 'Street Dreams', the half-hour show is being produced by Electric City Entertainment, the company behind last year's 'The Place Beyond the Pines' starring Ryan Gosling.
Street Dreams will be set in Nas' neighbourhood of Queensbridge, Long Island, according to a report on entertainment site Deadline, and will loosely chart the artist's rise to fame in the 1990s.
'50/50' writer and 'The Wackness' director/writer Jonathan Levine is on board to pen the show, while Nas will obviously provide Street Dreams' tunes.
Also on the slate for Microsoft's Xbox TV is the Halo TV series, directed by Steven Spielberg. Xbox's TV content is set to air later this year.
