The Xbox One’s controller input is to be tweaked a little, at the request of Titanfall devs Respawn.
Titanfall design lead Justin Hendry told The Verge, "It's just fixing the controller input, really. It wasn't really where we felt it should be; it was a little overly twitchy with the current controls. Now it's fixed. We're happy with it."
The fix, which will increase the sensitivity of the controller's thumbsticks at their outer boundaries, will be part of February’s firmware update.
As well as adjusting controller inputs, Respawn is also working with Microsoft on an improved version of the console’s upscaler in order to improve the visuals of sub-1080p titles.
The Xbox One’s March firmware update will also feature improved party and multiplayer functionality, ahead of Titanfall’s launch on March 11th in North America and March 13th in Europe.
