Hellraid is Techland's other melee-based first-person game, in which you embark upon a journey through a dark and foreboding medieval fantasy, looting, crafting weapons, customising your armour, upgrading your adventurer and completing a series of quests with friends.
Geared towards four-player co-op, Hellraid will see you face various demonic creatures, with the 'Game Master system' randomly generating online challenges and placing loot and enemies in different places for each play session. And as you can see in the new dev diary, melee combat is key.
Featuring an interview with Hellraid's producer, the video shows how Techland is using medieval sword fighting training to help inform its first-person swordplay, with the help of ARMA-PL. Check out the vid below to find out more. Hellraid is out for Xbox 360 and PS3 later this year.
