The recent Titanfall beta attracted around two million unique users, Respawn has said.
The studio’s community manager Abbie Heppe shared the stats, as well as some other info, in an interview with Polygon late last week. "We had around two million unique users playing during the beta,” said Heppe.
But work’s not done yet. "We're still looking for tweaks to certain weapons or other things," said Heppe. "The designers spent a lot of time watching videos and streams of people playing to try and look and see how they were abusing things or not understanding things."
"You never want to say that everything is going to be perfect,” she continued. “Obviously there are things that can change. But you don't want to say, 'oh, no, there will still be problems,' because you don't want to give people a lack of confidence in what you're doing.
“I think that this beta was really about giving people confidence that not only will we be communicative with them, but we're actively trying to work out any bugs now."
Over the weekend, reports of a Titanfall Xbox One bundle appeared. You can read about that through here. The game’s achievements have also been revealed, alongside a bunch of new vids. You can get all that through here.
Titanfall hits Xbox One on March 11th in North America and March 14th in Europe and Australia. The Xbox 360 version comes a couple of weeks later, on March 25th in North America and March 28th in Europe and Australia.
