Activision and Infinity Ward have revealed that you'll be able to grab the Call of Duty: Ghosts Devastation Pack expansion in April, with the usual selection of new maps, a new weapon, and a new instalment in the alien-busting Extinction saga.
To coincide with the announcement, there's a new trailer (below) that details the four new multiplayer maps that you'll get with the Devastation DLC. They are 'Ruins', 'Behemoth', 'Collision', and 'Unearthed', the latter being a re-imagining of the 'Dome' map from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
You'll also get Extinction Episode 2: Mayday, which follows on from the Onslaught Pack's Nightfall chapter. It sees you boarding an abandoned research vessel on a search for answers, and includes two new extra-terrestrial nasties to dispatch, namely the Seeders and the 100ft tall Kraken. New weapon mods and paths will also crop up in the new episode.
Finally, the Devastation Pack adds the new 'Ripper'; a 2-in-1 tactical weapon that can switch between SMG and AR functions on the fly. Xbox One and Xbox 360 Season Pass holders can use the Ripper weapon in Call of Duty: Ghosts right now. Everyone else can wait until April 3rd, when the Call of Duty: Ghosts Devastation DLC will be coming to Xbox Live first at the usual price.
