Kinect Sports Rivals World Championship Has a Grand Prize of $10K

Microsoft has announced the Kinect Sports Rivals World Championship today, offering cash prizes and holidays for the best wavy armed and wavy legged motion-sports player, in what is the first ever global motion-sports competition.
Skilled Kinect Sports Rivals players from around the world can compete for a grand prize of $10,000 in cash and a trip for two to either Bora Bora for a water sports adventure, a walk along the Great Wall of China, trekking to Machu Picchu or skiing in the Swiss Alps.
Second place will garner a $5000 cash prize, while third and fourth will win $2500 and $1000 respectively. $500 prizes for 5th-11th placed runner-up participants are also up for grabs.
Registration for the Kinect Sports Rivals World Championship starts from today (March 28th in Brazil), and you can start training in Kinect Sports: Preseason. The event itself will begin on April 8th in the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia and Brazil and on April 11th in the UK, France and Germany. The live in-person final will be held at San Diego Comic-Con in July.
