Update EA has confirmed the release date and Bruce Lee pre-order bonus for EA Sports UFC in a press release and new reveal trailer, as well as revealing how you can unlock the legendary fighter and film star in the game if you choose not to pre-order.
“I am so excited about this opportunity to bring my father back to videogames!” said Shannon Lee, Bruce Lee’s daughter and CEO of Bruce Lee, LLC and Chairperson of the Bruce Lee Foundation. “I’m thrilled that fans can now interact with him in a new way. The EA Sports UFC development team has been incredible to work with, and they've done a great job capturing the look and feel of my father. I think people will love getting a chance to fulfill a fight fantasy by playing Bruce Lee in the new UFC game.”
Pre-ordering EA Sports UFC will give you instant day one access to Bruce Lee, or you can or you can unlock him by completing the game’s career mode at Pro difficulty. EA Sports UFC is out on June 17th in North America and June 20th in Europe. Get the new trailer below.
Original Story It looks like EA Sports UFC will be launching in June, if a photo snapped of a promotional standee is anything to go by. It also shows an interesting pre-order bonus to boot.
Pre-order EA Sports UFC, and it appears you'll get "instant access to 'the father of mixed martial arts'", the iconic kung fu star, Bruce Lee, who famously created his own fighting style, Jeet Kune Do (way of the intercepting fist).
Bruce Lee seems to be a playable fighter in the upcoming MMA title, which if the image proves legitimate is out on June 17th. EA Sports UFC is coming to Xbox One and PS4.
