We erroneously thought that Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep would be Borderlands 2's last hurrah, but that was before we knew about the game's five Headhunter add-ons, the fifth and final of which is now available, drawing a line under Borderlands 2 (presumably) for good.

Another seasonal instalment (spring/Easter) following in the footsteps of the previous Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Valentine's Day DLCs, Headhunter 5: Sir Hammerlock vs. Son of Crawmerax sees the Vault Hunter crew heading to Wam Bam Island in a bid to take down the crab-worm offspring of Crawmerax from The Armory of General Knoxx.

You can purchase Borderlands 2 Headhunter 5: Sir Hammerlock vs. Son of Crawmerax now for $2.99/£2.39. Next up for Borderlands is the upcoming Pre-Sequel, available for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in autumn 2014.

  • I feel like I missed out on all these headhunters since I only got the Season Pass..
  • A level 15 in that fight?! LOL
  • Never got around to getting any of these, still gotta finish most of the main DLC. Hopefully at some point these 5 get bundled together, wishful thinking anyways!
  • This Headhunter Pack looks good. Can anyone recommend which were maybe the best out of the other 4?
  • @4 I believe the Christmas one, something to do with saving Mercenary Day, was the best one according to fans and reviews. The Mad Moxxi and the Wedding Day Massacre DLC was the worst one. I would pick between Halloween and Christmas.
  • Any achievements for these?
  • @6: None of the headhunter packs have achievements.
  • this game should win a Guinness world record for the most DLC in history.
  • Just finished it. Randy Pitchford said at PAX East that it was his favorite headhunter pack, and I'd say it is pretty good. I loved the Christmas and Halloween ones, too, though. Son of Crawmerax is a pretty hardcore solo fight at level 72 on UVHM, and he can be re-summoned as a raid boss once you finish the quests.
  • I don't mean to nitpick, but you spelled Crawmerax incorrectly in the title.
  • @5, Thanks, bud. I would have assumed Moxxi's would have been good, but I may go with the Christmas one since it's half off and only costs like, a buck fifty.
  • Even with how much content that was attached to the season pass, it's a bit evil to release stuff outside of its scope. You should get everything as part of a season pass... otherwise they should sell a season 2 pass... lol.
  • @8 pretty sure Rock Band would win that by a mile. I still need to play the actual game before getting all the headhunter dlc. I've been putting it off forever, too busy. Now I have a reason to rush.
  • @8 this is why iv avoided this game. No point even starting to play this even with the GOTY version out your still gonna need to buy this shit for the complete experience.
  • And with this, Gearbox can finally put Borderlands 2 to a close. It's amazing how much content this game got a year and a half after its release. Now THAT'S dedication.
  • @15 and yet....couldn't add more achievements as well! :(
  • I'm glad he can be resummoned as a raid boss... Frankly I wish all 5 headhunters had raid bosses respawned from the boss of the head hunters missions.. As of now main game has 2, 2dlc have 1, 2 dlc have 2, the digipeak raid and 1 from head hunter for ten total.. Still awsome in my opinion.
  • All that DLC and the final gamerscore is 1625? That's kinda lame.
  • As much as I love Borderlands, I only buy DLC if there are achievements.
  • @19 - I'm with you there, why play a game just to enjoy it?
  • @20 You'd have a valid point if Borderlands was worth playing. One of the worst games I've ever played (and I do have 1625 and 100% on the first one as well).
  • They should have stopped when the GOTY edition came out. @20 - Why play a game to death if you don't like it? Makes no sense at all.
  • @22 - Because achievement hunters are sad. They seem to think that increasing their GS will somehow give them a sense of accomplishment in life, or put them on some spotlight in a gaming community. Ooooh, look at me, look at my stupidly high GS...please. Play games for the enjoyment, not the dumb GS. And not purchasing DLC because there are no achievements...really sad. Achievement junkies are NOT true gamers.
