really wish he'd been the announcer from the start, still even though he's a million times better than snoop dogg completley pointless buy that i suspect could also get irritating after a whileThursday, April 17, 2014 @ 06:00 PM
Now this makes sense. Sorry snoop.Thursday, April 17, 2014 @ 06:02 PM
$3 just to change the voice of the announcer? I'm so glad I stopped playing CoD after MW2.Thursday, April 17, 2014 @ 06:03 PM
Yeah pay £3.90 so an AI can constantly call you an idiot whilst you are playing a game.Thursday, April 17, 2014 @ 06:24 PM
Oh please stop.Thursday, April 17, 2014 @ 06:53 PM
@3 you've played BO2 :/ bit awkward...Thursday, April 17, 2014 @ 06:54 PM
Bet he dosent insult you half as bad as in Full Metal Jacket.Thursday, April 17, 2014 @ 07:27 PM
@3 Micro transactions are the future of gaming.Thursday, April 17, 2014 @ 07:40 PM
@4 As opposed to the 6+ prepubescent teammates who yell at you anyway and apparently "fuck you mom"? If Ghosts didn't suck so much dick, I'd love this. Should be a regular announcer andyway.Thursday, April 17, 2014 @ 08:15 PM
@9 you're complaining about prepubescent teammates yet you say a game "sucks so much dick"?Thursday, April 17, 2014 @ 08:38 PM
@#6 It was included with Skyrim and Forza 4 with the 360S I bought back in 2012. Note that I never played the MP. Nor did I ever play the first BO. A friend did.Thursday, April 17, 2014 @ 08:57 PM
Call of Duty just gets better and better every day! :Sarcasm:Thursday, April 17, 2014 @ 08:58 PM
This is kinda cool although I don't wanna buy any DLC to support ghosts. I didn't have high expectations but still was disappointed.Thursday, April 17, 2014 @ 10:18 PM
@10. Yeah. It sucks dick. Got a problem with that? Saying a game sucks so much dick has nothing to do with being prepubescent, ass. Or are you one of those kids who love and think CoD can do no wrong?Thursday, April 17, 2014 @ 10:31 PM
do the voices apply to extinction also?Friday, April 18, 2014 @ 01:48 AM
can do without out this one hate his annoying voice snoop dlc for me.Friday, April 18, 2014 @ 01:49 AM
@14 It's your use of homophobic words that make you sound prepubescent. Try using bigger words, people will take you much more seriously.Friday, April 18, 2014 @ 07:23 AM
I feel like people are hating CoD now just because it's trendy to hate popular things. Having played a ton of most Call of Duty games I think ghosts is fantastic other than the spawn system still needing improvement which is a minor complaint overall. If you don't like the microtransactions then don't buy them. Activision and CoD devs have to be doing something right though because despite seeing mostly complaints about the games on the internet and very little love its the biggest franchise going still.Friday, April 18, 2014 @ 08:22 AM
@14, if you look up I've actually commented saying this should stop. I played Ghosts for about 10 minutes before trading it in. And @17 pretty much summed it up. "sucking dick" shouldn't even be used as an insult, let alone as a description of a game.Friday, April 18, 2014 @ 09:09 AM
I bet he dont say stuff like God damm it boy I bet you could suck a golf ball through a garden hose or get the fuck off my obstacle watching you is like watching old people fuck lolFriday, April 18, 2014 @ 09:11 AM

Bullshit I bet you could suck a golf ball through a garden hose.Friday, April 18, 2014 @ 03:53 PM
I don't care what the rest of you 12 year olds think this is awesome. Why wasn't he tapped for this type of gaming role before? IW: SHUT UP AND TAKE MY $3Friday, April 18, 2014 @ 05:42 PM
Gotta admit, this and that Snoop Dogg DLCs, while pointless, are perfectly fine with me. Sure, they really don't add anything, but it's nice to see something a bit less serious come out for a game like this. Honestly, I understand a lot of the hate for CoD, and I think it deserves most of it, but I don't get the hate here. It's a cheap, optional add on for those who want it, and has no effect on those who don't. I don't get the microtransaction thing here, either. Its not really a microtransaction, it's additional content. GTA V's shark cards are a microtransaction, and a shitty one at that.Friday, April 18, 2014 @ 06:41 PM

@ 11 Once again another prime example of the community at XBAFriday, April 18, 2014 @ 09:40 PM
I know lets comment on something i don't play and don't like just so i can.... err wait why do you guys do it? I'm not seeing the point so much of VO packs, but neither did i of gun mods and they went down well as i understand. I won't bash anyone for buying them if they want though. Go look at the DLC for Saints Row 4 sometime, now thats something. Anyway i'll go back to playing CoD... and BF, and any other game i want to play. Dammit am i now a hispter cause i won't side with anyone?Friday, April 18, 2014 @ 10:23 PM
This game may have the single dumbest, most money grubbing, despicable dlc i have ever seen....my god.Saturday, April 19, 2014 @ 05:55 AM
no thanks rather have some new modes return to the gameSaturday, April 19, 2014 @ 04:20 PM
I like call of duty. But I can't sit there and play it for no more then 1-2 hours. And will never buy this dlc. The game takes no skill to play.Saturday, April 19, 2014 @ 07:12 PM
I still just want to play Titanfall.Sunday, April 20, 2014 @ 12:06 AM
Voice DLC would be pretty cool if it was free. If I wanted to hear R. Lee Ermey yell at people I would just watch Full Metal Jacket or The FrightenersSunday, April 20, 2014 @ 05:05 AM
as awesome as hartman is, to pay to hear during gameplay is just sad wish it was free still a nice ideaSunday, April 20, 2014 @ 09:13 AM
Isn't R Lee Ermey an ardent NRA supporter? No thanks.Sunday, April 20, 2014 @ 04:48 PM
@36 I find it funny you are against guns while playing a game that is nothing but slaughter with guns. Also, why are all the 'famous'(Over the hill) people americans. Couldn't they get anyone outside of the US? This game already has too many americansSunday, April 20, 2014 @ 11:31 PM
It cost money just to change skins, voices, and get new guns you'd probably play for like an hour? Fuck this shit.Monday, April 21, 2014 @ 08:50 PM
It's cool that you can customize your loadout but it doesn't add any real replay to the game. Period. I will stick to the map packs instead. By the way where did the idea of a wolf skin come from?

R. Lee Ermey (AKA 'The Gunny'), the actor famed for his iconic role as drill instructor Sergeant Hartman in Kubrick's 1987 Vietnam movie Full Metal Jacket, will be following Snoop Dogg in lending his gruff voice as a DLC announcer for Call of Duty: Ghosts.
You'll be able to add R. Lee Ermey's voice to Call of Duty: Ghosts' multiplayer with the Drill Instructor Voice Pack, due to drop alongside a host of other customisation items for the game next week. As ever, the add-ons will be available first on Xbox Live.
Both the Snoop Dogg Voice Pack and Drill Instructor Pack will be out for Call of Duty: Ghosts on April 22nd for $2.99 each, with the Blunt Force Personalisation and 1987 Personalisation Packs also coming for $1.99 each. The Soap Legend Pack will also be coming soon for $3.99, featuring Soap MacTavish as a multiplayer character.
