British outfit Slightly Mad Studios has dated its upcoming next-gen racer Project CARS for a November release with this new trailer. They’re claiming the title is “the most authentic, beautiful, intense, and technically-advanced racing game on the planet.” Judge for yourself below.

“Create a driver, pick from a variety of motorsports, and shift into high gear to chase a number of Historic Goals and enter the Hall Of Fame,” says the blurb. “Then test your skills online either in competitive fully-loaded race weekends, leaderboard-based time challenges, or continually-updated community events.

“Featuring world-class graphics and handling, a ground-breaking dynamic time of day & weather system, and deep tuning & pit stop functionality, Project CARS leaves the competition behind in the dust.”

Project CARS hits Xbox One, PC, Wii U and Playstation 4 in November 2014.

  • This is how a racing game should look, definitely a day one buy for me.
  • i need 3 things: #1 track list #2 car list #3 pre order button
  • Thanks Slightly Mad Studios! Now I need to spend some more money, god damn you and you're beautiful looking racing game!
  • @3 Cool story bro
  • What? No Lightning McQueen?
  • This is going to be awesome!!
  • That second picture looks amazing. Just a question of how smooth the frame rate is. Intrigued by this game now.
  • Wow!! This will destroy GRID Autosport... Codemasters should have gone next Gen. Silly fools.
  • Looks brilliant, going to be a must-by.
  • Uh oh, Look out Forza...
  • Project CARS… can you get a more generic name? lol. THis does look quite nice, not my cup of tea, but still.
  • Can't be that good if it's coming to the Wii U.
  • They should've called it Project MOARS: Mother Of All Racing Simulators.
  • This game looks pretty legit, but it reminds me 100% of Forza and Project Gotham Racing. But I wish someone would make a Racing Game like how the Need For Speed Underground series was set up. I loved how it was all Street racing/customizing my car to make it look badass. I think that was the Best of the Need For Speed games to date as well. Just imagine though seeing/playing a game like that for Xbox One, the potential is so much better, then the PS2 days obviously. I don't know, maybe it's just me.. but I've been craving another Racing game like that. even it's not another NFS.
  • This looks great but what scares me is how so many of the cars are drifting.
  • This game will kill Forza and its multi - platform. Of course it will perform better for the PS4 since every multi - platform game does. X1 can't even produce 1080p on a 2D arcade game ( Trials Fusion ) among others.
  • As long as the driving feels realistic (like Forza and unlike Grid, Dirt or NFS), I'm very interested.
  • Ford Sierra Cosworth spotted in trailer, day one sale confirmed!
  • No news in a while hope we get some soon
