A Chilean retail website has listed Mass Effect Trilogy for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4, suggesting that the sci-fi RPG compilation is coming to next-gen consoles soon. The listing does not reveal a release date or a price point, but the possibility of the bundle coming to next-gen consoles with - presumably - some kind of graphical upgrade is a tantalising prospect.
Although BioWare has yet to comment on the retailer leak, a representative from the studio has previously commented on the possibility of a next-gen compilation. Speaking on Twitter recently, BioWare General Manager Aaryn Flynn said, “We have discussed that internally. If we can put solid plans together we'll share.”
Mass Effect Trilogy released in 2012 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It contains all three main games in the series, along with various DLC add-ons depending on the platform. We’ll bring the official announcement as and when it comes.
BioWare is currently working on Mass Effect 4. You can discover what little we know about the project through here.
