Dark Souls Developer From Software Acquired by Kadokawa Games

Japanese publisher Kadokawa Games has picked up Dark Souls and Armored Core developer From Software, in a deal that will see the company take a majority share of the studio. The agreement with previous owner Trans Cosmos is to be finalised on May 21st.
From Software will hence forth act as part of the Kadokawa Group, working on the publisher's core games, Gamebiz reports. To date, the Dark Souls II dev has had its games published by the likes of Namco Bandai and SEGA, while From Software self-published Dark Souls in Japan.
