In Stores This Week Around the World

This week offers up an odd mish-mash of new releases, including budget re-issues, games that have slipped under the radar, slightly strange bundles and games that were thought to be dead and buried.

Aside from Gamestop listing The Amazing Spider-Man 2 for Xbox One, there's nothing new in stores to play on Microsoft's shiny new console, so instead the focus falls on our trusty old Xbox 360s. To that end the RPG Bound by Flame hits in Europe and North America, while Europe alone gets Raven's Cry and the cut-price Tomb Raider - Classic.

Meanwhile, Gamestop US is also listing a bundle of the 2008 cross-over fighter Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe and a DVD of the stinky 1995 Mortal Kombat Movie. Timely.

  • Lots to choose from, Umm... Yep
  • Are we witnessing gaming dying right before our eyes. Very quiet at the minute and not a whole lot on the horizon. It's worrying
  • I might try TASM2.. Don't see it as a keeper though.
  • @2 We're dealing with both a new console launch and the start of the summer doldrums. Give it a while and more games will be coming out as we get closer to the holidays.
  • @2 let's hope watch dogs is good:)
  • That release date for Raven's Cry in EU can't be right surely? Listed everywhere else for October 14th ????
  • @2 Have you even seen the games coming in Q4 this year? Not to mention the fact E3 is just around the corner and record breaking console sales. So to answer your question, No we are not witnessing gaming dying right before our eyes.
  • I'll continue the infuriating task of getting all the achievements for Lego Hobbit.
  • Another week im totally happy I bought an xbox one on release. :) at least watch dogs is soon. Then a boring ass summer until autumn when the big games come out.
  • patience amigos! prepare for E3. A storm of games is coming
  • Is Raven's Cry coming out for real this time?
  • I was considering getting Bound By Flame, but after watching some Twitch streams of the PS4 version yesterday, I think I'd be better off putting that money towards Watch Dogs or Wolfenstein.
  • #4, you do realise XB1 has been out for what? Half a year, and theres still hardly anything decent on it.
  • @13 Same goes for PS4. Infamous was fun for a weekend, after I finished it, I've been back playing the XOne and haven't touched it since.
  • There's so much room for activities!
  • Its almost as if Ms don't actually want me to ever bother buying an xbox1. The games getting released for it is just stupidly slow. Oh well ill carry on with my 360 backlog.
  • What is Tomb Raider classic. I better not be Angel of Darkness HD lol
  • Moooooooooortal Kombat! Heres a vid to celebrate the re-release : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPD-F_m5Egs
  • @16 that's normal for new systems following an insanely popular system. PS3, Saturn, SNES, Atari5200 and DS had that problem.
