Respawn has revealed that Titanfall: Expedition, the first expansion for the FPS, will be coming to Xbox 360 in June, despite being scheduled for release on Xbox One and PC later this month. What's more, the developer announced that "updates for the Xbox 360 will naturally follow behind similar updates for the PC and Xbox One".
"This timing difference is due to the same reasons that more time was needed to finish Titanfall for the Xbox 360. Respawn must first finish their additions and improvements for the Xbox One and PC, and afterwards Bluepoint can then grab the latest and update the Xbox 360 version," reads the latest update on the official Titanfall site.
It's hoped that the process will gradually become more streamlined as Respawn and Bluepoint work together on Titanfall's content, with the gap hopefully closing in time.
"Right now the Bluepoint team is bringing over changes included in the Xbox One’s Content Update 2 while also working on the Expedition DLC. We asked them to split the CU2 into two parts, which includes the update to the Gooser challenge that recently went live, with the rest of the changes becoming available soon."
Titanfall: Expedition adds three new maps, new Burn Cards, Titan decals and a new 2v2 mode, and is expected sometime this month for Xbox One and PC, before heading to Xbox 360 next month. It'll cost $9.99/£7.99 as a standalone download, or can be snapped up with the Season Pass.
